The fight wasn't close. The only people who say so are guys like you-fans upset Manny didn't do what they thought he would so you are desperately searching for something, ANYTHING, rather than just accept the fact Floyd is better.

Floyd won round 3. Stop being mad that the judges, Ledderman, lampley, farhood and most respectable, honest, competent people scoring the fight think this as well. Sure, you can find less than .01% of people giving the round to Manny, that doesn't make it true.

Whatever Floyd did, Manny did far less because he couldn't figure out how to hit Floyd unless he stood still.

You just got duped into believing a guy you like was going to beat a guy you hate. You see a chance only because you love Manny. Guess its why they say love is blind.
You start off by saying something that even objective people would not agree with you. Manny was injured. Doctor prescribed pain killers for a reason. Usada approved for a reason. manny was requesting pain killers to a shoulder for a reason. Manny had surgery for a reason.

So start with wrapping your head around all that first.

As for round 3 try checking it out in the other thread. Manny shoukd have won it. So instead of 116-112 that makes it 115-113. Lederman gave Manny round 2. So 114-114 is not a stretch. There are other close rounds.

I reckon this was his reaction after Floyd was announced the winner, amongst a few others who I don't have to name!

Its been a while, but having read the last few pages I would like to reiterate that this was a really good technical fight which was ruined by poor commentary. It was a fight of close rounds and a close fight up until the championship rounds where Manny was very disappointing and dropped them both. I had it 8-4.

I can't emphasis how far this was from a whooping or masterclass. People are going to be told about this fight in 20 years and be told 'what a masterclass Floyd put on' and they will start to watch the fight and wait for it...and wait for it...and wait for it...only to get to the final bell and think WTF did I miss it?...and watch it again only to realise it never happened.

Floyd landed more and got hit less, thus the win. But Pacquiao landed harder and cleaner and was the one who did damage, in the end I saw two guys on a fairly similar level where Floyd was that little better and more effective in his style.

Harder and cleaner? When? Did damage? What damage?

You can start by looking at round 3 and not ignoring what your eyes are telling you. Manny won that round.

Your gifs showed mostly Floyd punching and Manny blocking enough if the punch or all of the punch. Some you even admitted too.

You started off Ok but maybe you just didnt like the outcome?

The reason being Manny lied. There is overwhelming evidence to support this. What round did he get hurt? Remember, Bob admitted Manny was 100 percent to start the fight.

Don't lie and say the 4th.

Rounds you say are close were still clear Floyd rounds. No one gave these to Manny as he didn't deserve them because he wasn't punching.

Wouldn't you have wanted him to earn a win with his skill and talents rather than you and others going this route? Are you so desperate that you want to claim a victory you know in your heart was a clear, resounding loss?

Floyd was visibly hurt twice in the fight and generally the shots Pacquiao landed had much more snap on them. If you look through the Pacquiao clean shots thread you will see Floyd landed mostly fencing type pot shots and Manny landed punches through the target. He just didn't do enough of it which is why he lost.

As I touched on in my first post, I thought at some point Floyd would start landing damaging shots and totally take over and dominate, as he did with Guerrero, Alvarez, Mosley, etc. But it never really came. Reason? Because Pacquiao is better than those guys and Floyd admitted Pacquiao was better than what he expected. His skills and technique have always been underrated because it is not the first thing you associate with Manny Pacquiao.
