He just didn't do enough of it which is why he lost.

As I touched on in my first post, I thought at some point Floyd would start landing damaging shots and totally take over and dominate, as he did with Guerrero, Alvarez, Mosley, etc. But it never really came. Reason? Because Pacquiao is better than those guys and Floyd admitted Pacquiao was better than what he expected. His skills and technique have always been underrated because it is not the first thing you associate with Manny Pacquiao.
Well said, and that's just from a one handed Pacquiao. Imagine what a 2 handed healthy Pacquiao will do to Floyd.

    The truth.

Time to jiggle your legs Floyd. Boom!

Manny Pacquiao could be gloving up in a ring in nine months, Freddie Roach told me on Tuesday, in NYC, for a Miguel Cotto vs. Daniel Geale press conference, held at BB Kings.

Mannys doing fine, hes on 30 days; isolation, he cant move his arm for 30 days, the trainer said. After 30 days, he will come from the Philippines to America to get that right shoulder, which suffered a tear in training for his May 2 clash against Floyd Mayweather Jr., assessed and to do rehab.

Imagine that, he really did fight with one arm.

      Legendary.

Outclassed by a one handed fighter. Priceless.

I personally don't think the injury played that much of a part, but its impossible to quantify it so no point arguing over it. I would rather focus on the fight and how it actually played out, I saw the fight how I saw it, and I will never let anyone convince me otherwise. I felt cheated by the commentating and I stand by my original interpretation having watched it a few times since. If you watch the fight with the commentary team that Andre Ward is on, that is by far the best and I wish everyone had watched it the first time with that commentary, it calls the fight accurately and in the moment.

I saw the fight very similarly to Stephen "Breadman" Edwards, which was good to see because I was pretty deflated after the fight with all the opinions flying around. I thought Pacquiao showed that Floyd couldn't dominate him in a technical fight, which is impressive in itself. Everyone expected the whirlwind Pacquiao but that was never going to win him the fight, he had the right tactics but he needed to hurt Floyd more significantly and score a knockdown to win it, kind of like the Degale-Dirrell fight. If you look at my preflight prediction I said Pacquiao can win the fight but he needed a knockdown in the first 6 rounds to win on the cards, he couldn't quite do it, and Floyd did what he had to do.

If you ask me my opinion anyway I think Floyd is the better fighter so justice was done in that sense. He has more in his locker, he can do that bit more and do it better. I am a tennis fan and you could compare Pacquiao to Nadal - power, speed, explosive, whereas Floyd is like Federer - technically perfect, finesse, accuracy.

You're right. You are still pathetic.

You also still can't show proof that Pacquiao didn't use his right hand. Which pretty much gets rid of your "one arm" theory.

Keep posting the same 4 .gifs, though.

It's been a month Stay salty, my friend.

That gif is Mannys best moment of the fight. Not round 4.
That gif is sick. Mannys left hand looked great there.
He just didn't do it enough.

So start with wrapping your head around all that first.

As for round 3 try checking it out in the other thread. Manny shoukd have won it. So instead of 116-112 that makes it 115-113. Lederman gave Manny round 2. So 114-114 is not a stretch. There are other close rounds.
The more I read about Manny needing pain killers 1hr and a half before the fight started, the more su****ious he looks.

Looks like a sneaky plan to numb his right shoulder so that he can keep punching regardless of pain and through fatigue had backfired big time.

Like that was their last and only hope at securing a certain victory.

                    .

It was to be expected. The loss was a very hard rock to swallow.

Boy George wrote a song about it years ago in anticipation of this moment...

                      The lyrics are killer...

Boy George – The Crying Game Lyrics

I know all there is to know about the crying game
I've had my share of the crying game
First there are kisses, then there are sighs
And then, before you know where you are
                      You're sayin' goodbye

Someday soon I'm gonna tell the moon
                      About the crying game
And if he knows, maybe he'll explain
Why there are heartaches, why there are tears
And what to do to stop feeling blue
                      When love disappears

I know all there is to know about the crying game
