I swear you people are JACK ASSES. Mayweather was just stating what all of us actually sane people know and that's Pacquiao doesn't have no say so in negotiations because Arum runs the show. Also, how is Mayweather saying this mean that he doesn't want to fight? He said he wants the fight and there are actually negotiations going on and everyone is working. How the hell does this equate to Mayweather is trying to duck the fight? If he would have said "I don't know nothing about any negotiations" then that's suspects but dude addressed it and even said he wants to fight. I swear Pacquiao fans/Mayweather haters really want him to duck the fight instead of actually fighting. Eluding all the obvious facts to come to their own conclusions is unbelievable, absurd and pathetic.

The answer is no.

You might be right about that, but in 2009 when Pac came off the Cotto victory I think he might have been a slight favourite. Not sure though.

thats funny because for years it was the floyd fans who begged manny to speak up and say that he wants to fight floyd. now its we knew it all along already that pac has no say. I remember Floyd wanting the fight way back in 2008/09 when Manny didn't want it. Also when Floyd called Manny on the phone a couple of years back and Manny said no. Listen, facts are that Mayweather said he wants the fight and is just stating what is the truth and that is Manny "Talk to my promoter" Pacquiao don't make no decisions in who he fights or his contracts. Sorry but you are just trying to protect your Floyd. He said more than that. Floyd is rehashing stuff. When they interview Manny and Arum, all they say is that they are agreeing. Floyd instead continues to talk about PPVs and all that stuff.

Plus, shouldn't Floyd now be happy that Manny is agreeing to everything? Before Floyd would say "We are asking you not your promoter" Now that Manny comes out and responds POSITIVELY, Floyd backtracks!


This is similar to 2012. Manny says that he is willing to give in on 50/50 to get the fight on and then Floyd comes back with $40 million. The only difference is that there is a more serious negotiation this time.
Manny has people negotiating for him and so does Floyd!!!

Manny and Arum have been saying via media that they agreed to everything and that Floyd should sign but Espinoza comes out and says there are problems with HBO/Showtime agreeing so how can Floyd sign a damn contract when the network(s) situation is not solidified? Answer that question? Sounds like Arum and Manny are just trying to make it seem like Floyd is procrastinating but in reality there is more going on with the details being ironed out.

Yup when they were both primed and coming off of big wins against solid opponents. So now you're counting "faults" to try and justify that Floyd is the reason things are how they are? Lame. From my knowledge Floyd tried in 2008/09 and again with the 40Mil after Manny said he would take less. Perfect example that Floyd's claim about Pacquiao is justifiable. Remember when Manny said he would take less to fight Mayweather and then when Bob Arum was asked he said "absolutely not". Obviously Bob is running the show.
