Doesn't matter what he thinks. Les Moonves, his boss is pushing the fight.

I never really thought this fight was gonna happen this soon either way, I thought if it was gonna happen it would be Mayweather last bout of his showtime contract.
if floyd-pac gets made it will have a rematch clause imo so sort of makes sense that Showtime would look to put the pressure on for it NOW.

Yeah, but what I'm saying is, whatever Espinoza says tends to reflect the Haymon side. To be clear:

Moonves has never said so himself, not recently anyways, so you're probably just parroting Bob Arum and his lieutenants - especially those in the press...Fat Dan, for one.

By the way, Fat Dan is beginning to backtrack from his assured statement of just a few days ago. And Stephen Espinoza just confirmed that the negotiations still have some way to go. So, Bob Arum has been sugar-coating his claims, and telling half-truths at best. Hmm.

Seriously every time this guy opens his mouth he says something to make himself look ******. His talking about keeping the negotiations out of the media but he gives interviews and says his personally involved in the negotiations. So if the fight happens we owe it to you?

Personally I think you should go Fck yourself and shut up already!

Have Arum open up the books then. If the actual figures are anywhere near what the rumored numbers are, the split should be 70/30 Mayweather; no better than 65/35 Mayweather.

Just because Arum thinks he should get 40% doesn't mean he's gonna justify that amount with the business that he's done. If $40m is a terrible offer, prove that Pacquiao has done better business than that.

They're both big enough for 50/50.

Great know all of a sudden everyone knows exactly who got what and as far as their concern how much the other guy should get. Damn, I should have hire these advisers when I was scrapping.

                      No, they're not.

Pacquiao did 400k PPV buys for the Rios fight, 700k PPV buys for the Bradley fight, and another 400k PPV buys for the Algieri fight in the last two years.

Mayweather did +900k PPV buys for Guerrero, 2.2m PPV buys for the Canelo fight, +900k PPV buys for the first Maidana fight, and +900k for the second Maidana fight in the last two years. Figure in the gates and you're looking at an additional $55m in revenue.

Since the Marquez faceplant, Pacquiao's star status has utterly collapsed; time that folks finally acknowledged that.
