Pacquiao did 400k PPV buys for the Rios fight, 700k PPV buys for the Bradley fight, and another 400k PPV buys for the Algieri fight in the last two years.
Mayweather did +900k PPV buys for Guerrero, 2.2m PPV buys for the Canelo fight, +900k PPV buys for the first Maidana fight, and +900k for the second Maidana fight in the last two years. Figure in the gates and you're looking at an additional $55m in revenue.
Since the Marquez faceplant, Pacquiao's star status has utterly collapsed; time that folks finally acknowledged that.

Neither guy is out there destroying the box office by themselves these days because of the economy, crazy high PPV prices, poor industry advertising/exposure, and the fact that the fans want them to fight each other instead of different opposition.

How will this combined factors affect Floyd PPV numbers? (No Fighting in Cinco de Mayo, Fighting in China instead of vegas, Fighting non-latino fighters, Undercards with unknown fighters, and Fighting Unknown Fighters).

Besides, IIRC, those fights were held during US prime time anyways - at least the Algieri one. That means that, technically, whoever would have wanted to buy such a PPV in the US, bought it anyways.
Corollary: Pac's ability to earn from PPV buys has gone down in recent times much more so than May's.
