which has nothing to do with the overall point. Top Rank presented K2/GGG with a good offer to fight Chavez, and K2/GGG accepted it.

If you are aware of Goosen/Ward presenting any offers to K2/GGG regarding a Ward-GGG fight, please enlighten us, because as of now all we have heard from Ward is hot air and Ward using GGG's name to try and stay in the news because he sure isnt fighting anyone anytime soon........

I did skim through that dialogue - it isn't exactly what I would call a riveting read - so if you can find the links, please do post them so I can look at it again.

I know Golovkin wasn't mentioned by name when Virgil was talking about Andre needing a couple of tune-ups, but it was obviously GGG he was thinking about when he said that.

The only other alternative would be that they are considering using GGG to tune-up for an even bigger fight. Maybe the one Ward has been avoiding for over 3 years now, against Carl Froch in the UK? Another example of Andre cleverly manipulating the boxing media to make it seem like his opponent is the reason a fight doesnt happen, rather than - whatever the heck it is that's kept him from fighting anybody for so long.

Andre is as slippery, devious and deceptive outside the ring as he is inside it. His boxing ability is not his only wasted talent. Even though Dontae just interviewed GGG saying he was ready right now? Stop confusing between what GGG supposedly says and what his team says. Both guys want the fight, but it's not happening yet.

I'm sure Froch would have jumped at the chance to fight Ward in the uk for 50% of the purse after he beat Bute, which I think was the last time Eddie Hearn spoke about it as a possibility. Maybe not now though, 2 years older and with 2 real wars against Groves adding miles to his clock. And, of course, the possibilty of a much easier fight vs Chavez in Vegas.

I am a fan of GGG, but it won't hurt my vagina at all if I admit that he and his team are not keen on fighting Ward right now. I don't think she would even know who Ward and GGG are.

What I would like is for you to admit that whether GGG wants the fight or not is immaterial right now. He could want it with all his heart and soul but he won't get it till Ward sorts his contractual issues out and, of course, gets his couple of tune-up fights out of the way first.
