In terms of the thread, Inoue can be a huge star in Japan, deifnitely a star in china if he gets exported and a name in the lower divisions but unless he moves up to fw at the very least and can make some noise with big KOs and a big personality.

I doubt he'll become a superstar in all of Asia though. The only Asian boxing star there's ever been is Manny Pacquiao, and that wasn't until he was fighting at 126+ pounds.

Pacquiao's path to super-stardom was paved by Morales and Barrera too. Having two legends like those to fight changed everything for Pacquiao. Who provides those opportunities for Inoue?

Has Gonzalez ever even fought on HBO? If their rematch is on HBO and it goes down really well then maybe that'll be a platform for Inoue to reach a Western audience. But even that would be nothing close to the level of fame Morales and Barrera had.
