Sadly no he will never be a huge super star, maybe in Japan.

Japanese do not like mixing with other races or countries they stick to their own.

I do not see a Japanese boxer who doesnt speak English being as big a star as Pacquiao, but Naoya will be a star only in Japan and that is okay with them they don't care about being international stars.

    Japanese culture is very different.

If Casuals hear about how good he is, and starts fighting over in america, he will be huge. I believe he will one day fight in America

Depends on whether he moves up, most girls are heavier than 115lbs.

Naoya's the real deal. He's only 21 but he's already fighting like a veteran.

His offense is so multi faceted and he mixes it up so well. He's dangerous to everybody he fights. If you fight him you will get touched. To the head and to the body.

if he fights in america and climbs up to a higher weight class he might be.

but he will never attain manny pacquiao greatness. no other asian will ever attain manny pacquiao greatness. nonito quackhypenaire tried to but he was proven a joke fighter.

I think naoya is gonna be better than pacquiao. His power carried. That is clear as daylight.

Sorry to say but pacquiao is a rare type...i doubt that there will be another boxer coming from asia that will be as great and popular like pacquiao

                    that's a false equivalency brush.

those two fighters rank way below morales and barerra in terms of stature.

inoue needs to beat hall of fame star level boxers if he wants to be like paacquiao.

you need more than great boxing skills to be a a boxing "star"

paquiao had that crazy background/life story and was a huge personality.

if it was just about boxing skills rigondeaux and andre ward would be ppv stars.

being a mainstream star requires more than being great at your sport.

                      just look at floyd.

floyd has always been a great boxer. he didnt hit mainstream star status until he faced oscar and changed his persona to play the villain bad guy role.
