not really. that's what people say to discredit pac's win. truth is barrera was on a roll avenging his close loss to morales and beating hamed. barrera was ranked #2 or #3 p4p and was the lineal champ at featherweight and a big boxing star.

inoue beat narvaez and that's an okay win. narvaez is 40 years old 4 feet tall and was already embarrassed by that hype punk job donaire. if a scrub liek donaire could beat narvaez then anyone of decent caliber can.

Japanese media numbers are more trust worthy than Chinese numbers, is there a single number reported by any entity in China that you trust on face value. Why would I put faith in a number that comes from Arum that is not really verifiable.

Japan is a mature market, that is a consumer economy. I assume they know how to count eyeballs there for network TV.

No doubt that Japan is more sophisticated than China. But the source for these stats seem rather vague. And I wasn't suggesting that Arum is trustworthy, just that numbers that appear on social media shouldn't be taken as fact.

I assume they are using Japanese Neilsen type numbers which people have always had issues with.

Scrutinizing any stat is fair though because a lot of stats given are given for a reason. I don't doubt Japanese TV money though, those have been the best paid little guys for a long time. Arum talk on China is crazy Arum talk.

why did inoue skip flyweight? he skipped one of the best division to fight at one of the weakest.

narvaez sucks is 4 feet tall and is an old 40 year old which is completely ancient at the lower weight classes.

i'm not sold on inoue. i think he is all hype. gonzalez and estrada both KO him easy.
