I didn't say anything about Kovalev. But you are right about it not being fair to compare Matthysse pre Danny Garcia to GGG. GGG has never faced an opponent as good as John Molina. In fact, Matthysse, pre Garcia, had fought much better competition than GGG has in his entire career, so at least Matthysse respectfully earned his reputation as a beast who could not be tamed.
