GTFO!! I didn't say GGG was too big or Floyd too small or any other BS. He just aint tryin to really fight anyone who will potentially mess up is ascension up the ladder.

Ya'll know it-but hey GGG is one of NSB's favorites so ya'll just gonna let it slide.

LOL @ DLH with his gift win over sturm *****ing that Mayweather who is smaller than him wont go to 160 when he himself doesnt have a legit win there and lost to a C level fighter.

Obviously, none of the things said about Matthysse were true and no one is talking about Matthysse now. A year from now or after GGG gets enough courage to get in the ring with a high quality opponent, he will soon after become a distant memory, just like Matthysse.
Good point, but Matthyse had already proven to be susceptible to boxers- Zab and Devon alexander. GGG has fought some good ( not great) fighters like Geale and Macklin demolished them

What does that mean? A win over pac or GGG. WOULD tremendously leap floyd up " the ladder". not continuing to be undefeated with wins against the likes of Maidana and Khan

On this message board, Matthysse had not proven to be susceptible to anyone at that time. He was the beast who could not be tamed, according to the posters on this site. They say the same thing about GGG today, but they won't after he fights a live opponent.

Really-GGG? Manny is a 1st ballot HOF'er so yeah that makes sense. GGG isn't in the same category yet and may never get there. We can't confuse HBO marketing and promotion with actual accomplishments.

Lucas got robbed blind vs Alexander. The Zab fight could have gone either way but I think he won that aswell.

                      What's your agenda, exactly? Haymon?

comparing a caveman brawler who gets knocked down by John Molina to the future GOAT Middleweight.... LOL
It is not true that I have an agenda, but it is true that you have no sense. Anyone who does have any sense who looks at all the posts about Matthysse from two years ago will see that the same posters who are posting about GGG now were saying the same thing about Matthysse then.

I didn't say anything about Kovalev. But you are right about it not being fair to compare Matthysse pre Danny Garcia to GGG. GGG has never faced an opponent as good as John Molina. In fact, Matthysse, pre Garcia, had fought much better competition than GGG has in his entire career, so at least Matthysse respectfully earned his reputation as a beast who could not be tamed.
