I look @ it like this. If pacquaio fought floyd in 2010 and lost then the hype will be totally destroy because his hype is build off the fact he can beat floyd. Bob arum was save in floyd for his last fight because he truly doesn't think he can beat him. But example pacquaio lost twice now one lost didn't count seem fix then got super knocked out but guess what his hype still exist because there building him up to fight floyd he's still the one who can beat floyd so it makes him relevant still but if he lost to floyd in 2010 what would you be building up pacquaio to do? Fight floyd again it wouldn't work. So this is why I think they haven't fought now that pacquaio is out the door is ok to fight floyd cause if he loses is ok we don't have to rebuild him up again cause his career is over. But my point is it would of been harder to rebuild pacquaio if he lost to floyd . It's better if he lost to anyone else because you can still build him up to fight floyd .. I been watching pacquaio when he was not a superstar I wonder if all his fans now started watching him after he beat oscar. I wanted to watch pacquaio vs Valero so bad!!! That would of made a better fight then floyd vs pacquaio in my eyes more of a war.

He's let go of the past for the sake of the fans and for history. Why can't Floyd? Is he that much of a child? Or just a coward?
His nickname is Money. Why doesn't he fight Pacquiao and make the biggest money fight possibly in history?

Pac already got knocked out, what left is there for bob to salvage?

There are only 2 Box Office fighters in boxing known by the American Mainstream and their names aren't Shane or Juan.
How many times has pacquiao been on ESPN, CBS, ABC, Comedy Central, Fox, he's a global Icon.
Floyd is the highest Paid Athlete in the World. He's balling harder than Lebron, Matt Ryan, Aaron Rodgers, Serena Williams and Tiger Woods combined. For 2014 at least.Last edited by DARKSEID; 09-22-2014, 12:18 AM.

That's why Algieri needs to beat Pac. People are sick of this Mayweather/Pac debate. It needs to end ASAP so we can focus on other fights. I for one would rather see Floyd stay as a duck. The earliest it can happen is Algieri beating Pac.

I can't speak for floyd but I can say this if I was in floyd shoes what I would do is this fight my last two fights and then act like I'm retiring to make sho time throw more crazy money at me and then I would make an offer with sho-time for a one fight deal and that fight would be manny pacquaio I'm guessing he can get a good amount to come out fake retirement for that fight. Also ariza got a 2 year contract with floyd which means he's gonna fight at less once or twice after the sho-time deal is over. I do know this floyd and bob are swore enemy's I mean they really hate each other look at the golden boy vs top rank war that lasted 2 or more years before they peace it up I just think is the same thing with floyd and bob but floyd ain't peace in it up. But if pacquaio made his own promotional company just for that one fight he would make more money and it can deff happen I mean look at cotto made his own promotional company he just works with bob arum but if a floyd fight is there he can do that to since he got his own **** and pacquaio way bigger star then cotto so don't see why he can't do it.
And you might ask why do all that we'll for starter pacquaio slice of the pie will increase 3 to 4 times bigger then the slice he would get with bob arum in the picture.
