Serendipity would be that Floyd fights Khan, and Manny fights Garcia, and both Floyd and Manny lose by KO. Then they make the fight, and no one gives a **** like Jones Jr. vs. Trinidad!

Jones/ trinidad was appealing at the time because there were talks back in the early 2000's and alot of boxing fans saw as a dream fight...that said i ordered the ppv and from wut i know it was a pretty successful ppv at that...over 500k ppv buys, id say some people cared about it.

Yea that was a very successful PPV most successful of Jones career right?

Manny Floyd would be the same way probably only more s, that fight will always sell no matter what because there are some deep (and I mean DEEP) feelings about that fight.

They could probably do like the movie Grudgematch and fight when they are like 65 and it would still be one of the biggest attractions in the sport. Which is totally sick but it is what it is.

The flip side would be if THAT fight did that all those years later and it is was an appealing fight back then but nothing more than a dream to most. What would this fight be capable of even after the fact which was a way hotter topic than Trinidad-Jones ever was.

I was under the impression the only reason he wouldn't fight Pacquiao was because of the test...

Anyone that actually believe that Rob Arum is telling the truth should seriously consider having their head looked at. Floyd has said their wasn't any talks in the works for this fight and for true followers of the sport knows, Floyd doesn't negotiate fights while preparing for another. But ole Rob Arum is using the hell out of Floyd's name so he can try and sell as many tickets for this BS fight Pacroid has coming up. ........ Folks there is no fight being discussed or anything in the works and Rob Arum has no shame when it comes to lying to *******s. You can sell fools gold to a *******s so long as you use Floyd's name first......

Mayweather is an angry man with blind, angry followers. They don't know the gravity of what he is facing when he retires without Pacquiao in his resume. This guy is supposed to be making peace offerings, building old bridges, settling disputes in an amicable manner in preparation for his retirement. So Floyd put everything aside? Floyd and company went on to ACCUSE Manny that he is a PEDs user with no proof and still go on about it today ......

Now the funny thing about all that is that 5 years later, even most objective FLoyd fans get that it was all a sham. Floyd was always apprehensive in fighting Manny and used the PEDs as an excuse because he never really believed that. If Floyd believed all that then Floyd would not have hired the PEDs dealer named Alex Ariza.
