If you think that Pac would have made 100 mil for this fight then you can't be taken serious.
How can you defend Pac turning down 40 mil? That's more than he has ever made for a fight. And if he wanted more then why not try to negotiate? He just hung up and never tried to make the fight. No matter how hard you try, you just cant defend that.

You do realize Floyd never made close to $40 million either right? Since he signed his show time deal he has but during the offer of $40 mill to Manny, he was making just the same in the $20-30 mill neighborhood. The offer was bogus and only the most idiotic of fans think otherwise. Funny, 99% of Mayweather fans fall squarely in that demographic lol.

It's been obvious they were bs'n, they always use Floyd name when Pacquaio got a fight scheduled. Yet.. People going to blame Mayweather. Arum and the whole Pacauiao side repeat the same **** every year for the past 5 years until Mayweater wins and people get hype about the fight and think it all a matter of Floyd saying "Ill fight Pacauiao".. But when he avoid questions and refuse to say the mans name, everyone blames him for the fight not happening, exactly what they planned. They get to hype their fight and also shift liability of the mega fight not being made on Floyd.

Haha. That could be a very good call! I'm undecided on him (though admittedly I've not read much of his work). Either he's just wrong and makes outlandish claims or boxing journalism is populated by cowards too concerned with their own careers. My innocent sense of heroism and romance leans me towards believing the latter, though it wouldn't be the first time I've delved into naivety on hindsight.

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum is not buying anything Floyd Mayweather Jr. states with respect to a potential fight with Manny Pacquiao in the future. Arum, who promoted Mayweather for a decade, says the WBC/WBA welterweight champion does not like fighting southpaws.

"I promoted the guy for ten years and I know how difficult it was to get him in the ring with any southpaw. When you talk about a southpaw who can move like Manny, that's not the kind of opponent that Mayweather feels he would do well against. That's the problem. There are a lot of differences between Mawyeather and Pacquaio, but the biggest right now is that Mayweather doesn't owe $100 million in taxes to two different governments. Pac needs a fight with Mayweather just to pay off his tax bills.

Most careers have very few southpaws. How many southpaws has Pac, Cotto, Garcia, BHop, or Marquez faced?

4 of Marquez' last 11 fights were against southpaws.

But the problem is not really southpaws as such. It's the southpaws he elected to face and those he opted not to. Surely you can see the difference in quality between Judah, Ortiz, and Guerrero and Pacquiao, Martinez, and Williams.

Mayweather made that offer to Pac in 2012. in 2012 Forbes list had Mayweather as the highest paid athlete with Floyd making more than 85mil. that 85 mil came with just 2 fights. So I think your math may be wrong.
