That aside, the reality is he is boring to watch.

He was horrible against Kessler, and dull as dishwater against Miranda, Bika, Abraham - allan green actually sent me to sleep.

He had everything on a plate during the S6 and even skipped the Euro press tour until the final date - and then throughout he had every fight at home, or on home soil whilst everyone else travelled.

A dog tired Froch, whom (as usual) gave the series the standout fights, fought him 1 week before xmas in a cold Atlantic City - and gave us a bit of fun, but otherwise Ward's career is bland.
How was he allowed to get away with that?
Did the powers that be just give him what he wanted for fear of him pulling out or what?

Ward acts as If he's almost ready to retire. He should be chasing someone. That's the difference between him and Floyd. Ward is content. At 30, Floyd was just getting started, he was literally chasing Oscar for a fight. If you really look at it Floyd's career was just beginning at 30 he didn't become a superstar until after the De La Hoya fight.. So if Ward does want to continue his boxing career he should rethink his approach because with his (boring) fighting style most fans and media are more than happy with letting him sail of into the sunset and sliding GGG into that #2 p4p spot. He can start with a Dirrell fight..

"I'm secure in what Ive done" - Andre Ward

This is the problem with Ward, he's not hungry. He wants money fights now, doesn't want to challenge himself, thinks he's done it all.

You can try to spin it if you want but these are the facts. So if you call him nobody, then what is Golovkin?
dude's not active, has promotional issues, an introvert, boring than mayweather, knocks only the audience, jealous of GGG's popularity, so yeah he's more popular than GGG

Basically GGG's team backed down, He's saying keep his name outta your mouth if you dont want it. GGG's team said they would fight anyone from 154 to 168 and when Ward called them on it they backed down. And now its all good. You guys (ggg fans) talked trash but when called on it you and him are running scared and yes he out soled GGG. so when it comes to it you guys and Ggg was just selling wolf-tickets. They apologized and explained their position. You say Ward is not hungry and doesnt want to move up in weight but say your cool with GGG doing the same thing. Dont be such blatant hypocrites. You guys arent asking GGG to step up to fight #2 P4P but you want him to step up weight classes and we know why. He'd get his ass beat. Isnt that why you guys go out of your way to hate on Ward and ask him to move up weight divisions but never ask the same of ggg when he's the biggest challenge around his division. Even his team is asking and trying to back up off the trash talk. He is not the star you guys think he is as saw by his ratings on HBO his last fight. GGG got punked

Ward has already done everything at 168, what is the point in him staying there? the guy was talking moving up two years ago, so what's the hold-up, it's not like he's doing anything at SMW.

In saying that, I don't see much left at 160 and below for Golovkin now. Mayweather, Cotto, Lara and Canelo get destroyed and probably won't take the fight.

Martin Murray is the only guy I see giving Golovkin rounds at 160, maybe Mora, maybe not but I don't see either guy winning.

I'm cool with Golovkin-Ward, make the fight. I suspect Ward wouldn't take it though, he only started talking when GGG said he was staying at 160.

Whats up with your sig? I love it - Ward was asked this in an interview, how can anyone talk bad about it? GGG was willing to go up and fight Chavez at 160 - Chavez pulled out and no mention of p4p #2 - Ward is a dog, you need to rewatch him if you think he is boring - that's the old monkey see monkey do approach again, Froch / GGG / Kesseler / they do not mention him, who has a better resume than Ward beside Manny / Floyd / and Bhop ??? Ward cleaned out his division with back 2 back elite fights - what is there to complain about? These other fighters know that their game is not up to par, so please keep making up the excuses- oh but wait Chris Algiere is an exciting fighter??? No one mentions Ward's name, the last one that did has not been the same (Chad Dawson) these cats whisper Ward's name, and when they give their excuses the fans turn into mocking birds - jedi mind trick ***s...

Dear Andre, please frckn get ur **** together and fight someone... wherever.
Please understand that you are a high risk low reward fight for most PPV stars at the moment.
If this goes on you'll be fighting Stanyslav Kashtanov on FnF.
Even though Canada might be a bit too far away for you, I heard Adonis is still looking for a date. Be quick before Pascal gets the payday.

I like Andre Ward ! I feel bad for him not getting fights and whats up with GOOSEN ? Its a WASTE of PRIME and thats a very short window, ZIP and its OUTA HERE and you get it only,,,,,,,,,,,ONCE !!!!!!!!

His gripe about GGG was fair enough and I think TEAM GGG has it right to stay 160 clean out the division and come North to clean out the 168's.

I can't imagine a 49 year old fighter beating Kovalev but I have been fooled before, so Andre as far as one can see has cleaned out the 168's and knocked out whats his name the 175 dude and should just go north and clean out the 175's !!!!!

                      Kovalev vs Ward
                      Hoppy vs Ward
                      Supermang vs Ward

By that time GGG will have cleaned out the 160's and a super fight between
Ward and GGG should be made for an all time great fight
