Ward has to keep fighting, stacking his resume, and then the greats like GGG will probably fight him.

Most of all this is just bullstein. Again if team GGG thought he could beat Ward, they would take the fight. They don't think GGG can beat Ward.
It's the logical fight, team GGG wants Cotto. If you think Cotto will fight GGG next for less than half of the purse he will make vs Canelo, you're an idiot. If Canelo beats GGG, do you really think ODLH let's him anywhere near GGG? If Cotto beats Canelo, do you think he would fight GGG? The answer to both could be yes, if GGG had a signature win over a top guy, like maybe this Ward fellow. Without the signature win for GGG, it will be easy for Canelo or Cotto to pass on a GGG fight. As in, who's he fought Daniel Geale? Get the ^&*( outta here

I'd be hopeful that GGG will fight ward at some point, but I reckon most want to see a unified middleweight champion move up rather than a middleweight titlist move up. imo unify 160 then move up and take on 168 ward included (as presumably ward being ward ain't gonna risk moving up to 175). that's what makes most sense imo ... do people have an issue with this?
