GGG and friends believe they can take anyone from 154-168, and have a 168 guy that wants a piece, yet all they have to offer is excuses for why it can't happen. I'd rather them stop talking about it, instead of saying "We want to fight, but *insert excuse.*" It makes it seem as if he's calling him out with no intention of fighting.

“You got to fight the right heavyweight,” he admitted, but added: “As a fighter, I believe I could beat a Klitschko… I’m wired to believe that…I think it could happen, absolutely.”

He didn't issue a challenge to the Klitschko brothers, or claim that they were afraid of him. He even implies that fighting them could be a bad idea with the “You got to fight the right heavyweight,” line (Roy Jones wasn't dumb enough to challenge Lennox Lewis lol). He simply stated his belief in himself as a fighter, and that he would like to challenge them one day. Not exactly the same as considering yourself to be the most feared fighter in a given range of weights.
You're nitpicking. He says right there he wants to move to 175 and fight the best. AFAIK GGG never said Ward is scared of him (or anyone else, he respect box). They'll entertain offers outside of their weightclass if lucrative enough. Ward not only hasn't sent a lucrative offer, he hasn't sent any. What's the holdup?

I think Ward beats him in an ugly, boring fight with a ton of clinches from Ward. Hit him, tie him up. Hit him, tie him up. What you think???

I saw this last night, GGG's face when Geale clinched him, he was frustrated. Ward definitely punches harder and clinches harder, damn near vise grip.

              GGG would look ugly IMO.

Good point, Ward's clinch/grappling game is very sound and I don't believe GGG will know how to deal with it.

I say if Ward didn't clinch like that he would not be the same threat to GGG

Ward looks even worse in that situation. He's basically trying to cherry pick in fantasy land. He doesn't even have the guts to move up one weight and fight Kovalev.

I almost don't even want them to fight because of this reason. I can't stand that constant clinching **** bro. Smh

Looks like all of Ward's GGG name-dropping has worked to keep his name relevant. Funny how GGG is held to a higher standard than anyone else in the sport. He's already expected to fight the best in higher divisions, while the supposed P4P #1 never has to defend his 154 title at the full 154 and the P4P #2 gets a pass for cleaning out his division and looking to the lower divisions for competition. Guess GGG really is the goods.
