if he looks away and floyd hits him with an illegal blow causing a KO you could say cortez looking away may indicate a fix. that those seconds were bought so that floyd could land something he couldnt land if cortez was watching.

but if he landed something that was 100% legal, that would have been a KO even if cortez did look. why would it be a fix? you gonna pay a ref to look away so you can do something legal that the ref could have looked at anyways?

At the time it happened it looked rigged. Do I fully believe that? No. Who cares about that anyway. This here was a completely different situation. It wasn't no cheapshot.

The moral of the story don't get caught slipping in boxing especially against a high end boxer as it usually doesn't end well.

I really don't have much sympathy in a situation like that he messed up and lost, don't mess up next time.

Maybe the ref didn't see the headbutt. Regardless, it's not the first accidental headbutt in the world and I have never seen any fighter take more than 30 seconds after a accidental headbutt what more 5 minutes.

The headbutt was sod's fault anyway. He just rushed in and walked into rigo's head.

he wasn't capable of adequately protecting himself because he was stunned from the headbutt. i didn't even see the referee ask him if he was good to continue. it's really harsh to blame kokietgym for this. the referee was seriously negligent and endangered kokietgym's health.
