There's also the mental aspect, you're sharper mentally for longer – not just physically. In training that means you're able to train at a higher level for longer, process and implement new skills. In an actual fight, it means you're less likely to make a mistake if you're fighting for 10-12 rounds....Stuntman Mike likes this.

I think because of Lara's style (despite being a bit washed) it could be a bad fight for Eubank. Benn is clearly the low risk, high reward option.

Yeah this is the thing, whilst Beterbiev was hitting gloves he was moving Bivol around and some of those punches definitely hurt through the guard. But in professional boxing, those are not supposed to be counted. So a lot of the success that Beterbiev was having shouldn't have been scored under traditional...
