I don't like Vargas as a fighter too much, but this is great. More fighters need to follow suit.

What a load of bull**** to say Bradley and the others are drug free. Bradley and broner beaten from pillar to post Bradley rubber legged for 4 rounds showed no signs from the beatings during the fights and the guys beating them got tired and had to take rounds off. WTF??. Oh I forgot Bradley is a vegetarian. Tests are designed NOT to catch nobody and if mayweather gets caught he can buy the whole testing facility

Since this article is about Jessie Vargas, and fighters enrolled in year-round testing, no Mayweather does not get a mention.

Funny you mention him, though. He no longer forces the issue with random drug-testing with his opponents, as if the whole thing was to save face for the failed negotiaitons with Pacquiao - lasted long enough to make it seem as if he takes a stance.

He has NEVER demanded his own fighters submit to random testing - I even asked Floyd, Ellerbe and Schaefer on the subject back when he first enrolled in USADA (and when Vargas was still fighting for Mayweather Promotions), and got nothing but stutters and non-answers in response. Even after his fighters were popped, still nothing. In fact, he parades around J'Leon Love as the future of the sport, without holding him to any kind of standards.

Even back then, Vargas was on record saying he was willing to submit to random testing. Now that he has a belt, he's willing to lead by example. Nobody would notice if he didn't enroll, so the fact that he's doing so voluntarily should be applauded.

Finally, USADA has taken it on the chin in the years since being "introduced" to the boxing world, to where it's hard to lend credibility to their program. WADA as a whole? Sure. But not USADA and its "standards" in boxing.
Jake, you shouldn't be surprised to get this kind of blowback from Floydiots who latch onto any article about the "Fight Against PEDs" only to find it's not singing the praises of their fraudulent idol. Funny how duwdu finds it "scandalous" and is butthurt that Floyd is not mentioned or given any credit in your article. And they fail to comprehend the difference between fight-to-fight testing, which was Floyd's only concern for himself with his fights, versus year-round accountability which the "face of boxing" should have advocated and set himself up as an example for everyone to follow if he truly wanted to "clean up the sport of boxing." Instead, Nonito Donaire took up the mantle and set the example for boxers to follow...and which Floyd still hasn't signed up for. (He's TBE doe.)

In some interviews Floyd says he doesn't watch film or study his opponent. In other interviews he exposes himself with the admission of "doing your homework." (See how easy it is to catch him in lies and duplicity, all done in order to perpetuate his illusion of TBE?) How many Floydiots refuse to believe he did not do his homework studying Pacquiao's losses, to easily find on the internet Pac's explanation of how last minute blood draws adversely affected him in his loss to Morales? Bingo! OST blood draws as close to the fight date as possible, to "clean up the sport of boxing"! LOL.

        'Nuff said.

Yes I agree it is sicking how some certain fighters who are affiliated with certain factions are allowed a pass but others are punished accordingly

anyway, getting a good editor would be a good idea, too. the first two paragraphs were very hard to read. are you a real boxing journalist?
Reading (& comprehension) is fundamental. Let's see if you're capable of FINDing the following WALDO in the article:

"VADA is the only organization connected to boxing to use Carbon Isotope Ratio (CIR) testing, key in detecting synthetic testosterone and flagging any results that exceed a 4-to-1 T/E (testosterone to epitestosterone) ratio."

That's elaboration enough on the superiority of VADA vs USADA. If you need further elaboration, Google the articles by Hauser and Montoya that bring light to the questionable practices by USADA. But I know you won't...it's more comforting for Floydiots to perpetuate TBE's illusion than to know the truth. Willful ignorance and denial of truth is a Floydiot's best friend. TBE all day! LOL

            'Nuff said.

P.S.--How is Vargas linked to "the most famous juicer in the sport"?

Oh my God dude. You can't be serious. You just tried to correct someone about grammar and you spelled the word wrong. Then you called the dude a grammar **** for correcting you. That is extremely hypocritical.

Well I guess both myself and the the other guy that I was talking too are BOTH hypocrites being that he criticized the journalist of the article for having bad grammar meanwhile his is just as bad or worse.. Or did you miss that part?

And btw I don't care if I have bad grammar, I'm not trying to be a "real boxing journalist".
