By the way Hatton almost lost to collazo before he fought mayweather. Calzaghe and pavlik were unbeaten but unlike Hatton they dominated everybody prior to Hopkins
Nice debating with you , peace
Guess I'll have to.
Hopkins -Trinidad, Tarver, Pascal.
I believe that's it. 3.
Floyd has more at 130 and 135 alone
You just included those names it's right there.
Calzaghe dominated everyone he faced I'm guessing you didn't see the Robin Reid fight? Who's better Reid or Collazo?
Either way back to the point of discussion Floyd beat more #1 ranked guys than Hopkins and more Top 5 guys than Hopkins.

Trinidad tops the list, and then you're going Castillo, Corrales, Mosley, Cotto, Marquez, Oscar, and Hatton before you list another Hopkins win. I guess Tarver could get in there, that's it.
Then you start listing their ranked contenders and champions and Floyd blows him out of the water. Wins people completely hate on like Judah and Baldomir and Guerrero, and wins people don't ever mention like Corley and Hernandez and Chavez and Augustus, are as good, if not better than the wins people love for Hopkins, like Cloud, Murat, Johnson, Shumenov, and all those blah names he defended against at middleweight.
Either way, after Trinidad - as you say it's all Mayweather. Tarver would be in there somewhere, but Mayweather fought such an amount of champions, ATGs and HOFamers that it really isn't even a contest in my book.
I think most people claim it to be, because of their personal dislike for Mayweather.

Floyd's only real notable win against a quality fighter in his prime was against Jose luis Castillo, and he lost the first fight. I don't know how you can be an all time great with only 1 notable win.

No. And I'm not that excited about Kovalev but I might even root for him. Anything to make Hops retire. Not that I don't respect him but I find the idea of a 49-year-old selecting certain opponents (and avoiding others) profoundly annoying.
