When BH was younger his resume might have lacked a bit, because there wasn't anybody that good in the middleweight division, but he did the business for years and years, and still doing things that are comparable to FLoyd now, apart from lose once in a while.
But BH never took lay offs with the luxury of fighting when he wanted to do and fighting so little.
This part is a joke right?? Hopkins was damn near fighting once every year in a half..he just now stepped it up

He ranks higher than them all. The only one that competes on resume is Pacquiao. Hopkins resume is good, and he gets props because he's so old and still doing his thing. But I can't see how he's supposed to be greater than Jones or have a better resume.
So give me the lowdown on why Hopkins resume is better than Jones' then?
Jones' best wins simply smoke Hopkins out of the water completely. He has Hopkins himself, Toney, Montel Griffin, Tarver, McCallum, Ruiz, Hill, Trinidad - that's just going off memory.
Hopkins has defended his middleweight belt a lot of times, but the quality of that streak doesn't come anywhere near Jones' resume. The likes of Cloud, Shumenov and Murat are nobodies really. I'm not saying he has a bad resume at all, but he certainly doesn't have anywhere near as good a resume as Jones.

Let me ask you, which is a the better win for Cotto at 160lbs, a win over Golovkin or a win over Mayweather?
Floyd has the deeper resume, the more "accomplished pro", but we all know which would be the greater win.

Hopkins, Manny and Mayweather have all beaten more current champions then him..Floyd has more win over current champions then all of them
and did you really list Trinidad for Jones???..so you can list Jones for Hopkins then right?
