This is the same WBC that ranks Amir Khan #2 at welter and a host of other shenanigans.

is mexico a race or a country, and why is the wbc/wbo confusing the two? Im an american, so if someone says i just beat the heck out of an american that's not racist or ban worthy.

        Where's that quote from.

The fact that a man's career, way of making a living and supporting his family, can ripped out under him for making a comment that can possibly be conceived as insulting... is INSANE...but hey,

Keep drumming on that "progress" you're talking about...

Real progress wouldn't be knee-jerk reactions to reprimand and punish everyone in the name of "progress"

There's obviously a politically correct narrative that is strictly enforced if anyone goes off script.

If you actually do your homework and read my posts on this subject you will realize he wasn't suspended just for this statement. He's said many racist things on twitter, his run in's with the law, his videos and everytime he's interviewed he drops 20 F bombs.

This was a culmination of all those ignorant acts. Not to mention it was on PPV, on Cinco de Mayo and the promoter is a Mexican/American.

He's an idiot, needs to grow the *** up and I feel 0 empathy for him.

Broner is a scumbag but those particular comments weren't anything to get suspended over, it's ridiculous IMO.

This is ridiculous.

You know if it was Molina saying he beat up a black boxer he wouldn't be getting banned. But The Problem gotta apologize? if he backs down and apologizes he'll lose me as a fan.

what do yall think? should AB apologize? was the punishment fair? polls up
I'm pretty sure you had a problem with the Clippers owner saying no blacks should be seen with his GF at the game, right? It works both ways my friend.

I agree he is an idiot, and I in no way support the personality that he's trying to sell... and ultimately, he'll come back and fight and make money...

The bigger issue, in my mind, is the precedent of keeping everyone "on script"... "or else"... You don't want people people being so offensive that it stains the image of boxing(even more), but you want fighters to be able to speak their mind as well.

All they've done is say he can't fight for their titles. He can fight for others. he's not banned from anything important like fighting. They have no authority to do that in the States. This is all blowhard BS.

Unfair. It wasn't that bad, especially not by boxing standards.

This is comin from something who loathes Broner's persona.
