that's literally what they want. they don't want ward to fight in froch's backyard for a fair shake. they know a fair shake equals a ward win. they want a robbery.

    they'll "respect the judges decision."

it still hurts. it will always hurt. it hurt before andre ward came around, and it will hurt when he's gone.

    america > europe.

floyd mayweather > amir khan or carl froch. does david haye even box any longer?

it's amazing how butthurt euros will change the story well after the fact.

kessler and abraham were the favorites to win the tournament. kessler was around even money, IIRC.

That's my only real complaint of Ward (besides being an absolute bore, obviously.) And yet there are still goons who claim Ward cleared out his division and faced every viable threat in his division.

To be honest, I wouldn't mind seeing Ward against an opponent + a referee. But I'll settle for a referee who enforces the rules of boxing no problem.

              Green K, bro.

Ward seems to have had it his way with officials. He should have been DQ'd vs Kessler, and had point deductions vs. Rodriguez.

Funny how the Yanks b1tch about European officating, when there is quite clearly a problem in the States.

Ward can do whatever he wants like Mayweather. He is unbeaten and the champ so he gets to call the shots.

The difference is, Mayweather sells out venues and generates PPV interest. Ward can't even sell out a venue in his hometown, let alone generate worldwide appeal.

Ward may be a great fighter, but he's a bore. He's a charisma vacuum.

                    Ward is still relevant?

Ward is certainly a hometown fighter but I doubt it would have made much of a difference to the results in the super six. One difference that it probably would have made is that he'd have to fight on the outside a lot more as European refs would not be as tolerant of his clinch-fighting/mauling. American referees seem to work under different interpretations of the rules from most non-American referees. However I doubt that the end results would be much different, Ward is simply better than Froch, Kessler and Abraham.
