gattis a hell of a lot better than maussa and you know that dude. mitchell is better than maussa too. so what if maussa had a belt. he got an upset over vivian harris dude. thats just complete hatton biasedness if you ask me. is hatton your favorite fighter cause i dont get that dude. hatton has one major win period. every other win is either someones left overs or just pure tune upage.

Gatti
Hatton
Malignaggi?
etc.
There are now 3 or 4 threads about Malignaggi - a trashtalking, featherdusting, juniorwelterweight in a talent-laden division who hasn't beaten anyone of note. Huh?
The white boxing fan keeps searching for the next Great White Hope. Meanwhile, there are tons of more deserving Hispanic fighters who fly below the radar. I'd love to see Gatti vs. Castillo. Malignaggi is saying that he is the best 140er in the world. Rock Allen will knock you out in two. Castillo will make you cry. Corrales will make you quit. Casamayor will embarrass you.
I'll just sit and watch as each Great White Hype gets knocked off.
Like you said,
"sit and watch as each Great White Hype gets knocked off"
More power to you.

The ******est thing in response to racism is "my best friend is Puerto Rican". That is myopic.
The statement was that White fighters are over-hyped. They get hype and media coverage (and thus, money) disproportionate to their accomplishments or abilities in the sport.
Nobody said that all white fans dislike ethnic fighters.
There's no hype there, right?
If a guy is entertaining, regardless of whether it's against
club fighters or elites, the entertainment value is still there.
That's why the Gatti-Ward fights were pretty much as
entertaining as the MAB-Morales trilogy, because in both cases
the fighters were very close to the same level, creating close,
hard fought fights. The reason for this thread was to play the
race card, because you're a racist, period. Take that ****
somewhere else.

how can you say white boxers get this and that and whatever.
BARRY IS THE ONE WHO SAID THAT ALI, ETC WERE HYPED (NOTICE BOLDING.)
Exige claims to be above this discussion, but continues to contribute to it. Strange. That vaunted intelligence you claim doesn't seem to be keeping you above the fray. BTW, name-calling is VERY mature. Love your style.
Ex, you just compared Mayweather and Hatton as having equal amounts of "hype". It is (in the words of Mike Tyson) 'ludicrous' to compare the accomplishments of Hatton and Mayweather. Hatton has 40 fights and is asking for "tuneups" prior to fighting PBF. A late 20s, active champion asking for "tuneups".
Mayweather has beaten Chicanito Hernandez, Famoso, Goyo Vargas, Jesus Chavez, and Diego Corrales. The last four guys in their primes. He went on to beat DeMarcus Corley, N'Dou, Sharmba Mitchell, Arturo Gatti. He beat Jose Luis Castillo in a contested decision and rematched him immediately and beat him convincingly.
Corrales' last fights? Casamayor, Casamayor, Freitas, Castillo and Castillo.
Hatton's resume look anything like that? Here's some random bolding just to make you cry.
Again: who are the best white fighters over the past generation?
