Just saw the fight yesterday. Like I've said before I'll won't buy a Mayweather fight but I will say the fight with Madiana was worth the PPv but the under card wasn't worthy.
I thought it was a good fight but I did notice early that Floyd wasn't moving his feet much. He made a choice to make it a fight, not really what he excels at but he did a good job with such an animal. Personally I think the next fight with Madiana was PLANNED. I guarantee you won't see Mayweather doing the same thing in the next fight, though I will say that Madiana is a different animal now and boxers don't bother him like they use too. Good close fight and my hats off to both gentleman.

Because of him sitting on the ropes, I gave Maidna the 11th and the 12th. He had to have landed the harder punches in the 11th and the 12th because the damage caused Floyd to sit on the ropes after the fight.

Steak dinner is a sign of winning normally though... right?

But if you want to try and call the 8 oz gloves pillows -- only keyboard warriors do that.
You say Floyd mentions he was sore from the fight, but a minute ago you were trying to suggest that Floyd was in so much pain til you informed that Floyd gets a massage after every fight. He said that he took a lot of punishment from Cotto and Augustus, so? He still won.
Floyd won the fight, get over it. You can try to spin things however you want, it won't change the fact that he won, and Maidana lost.
In a recent thread I said, in quite a lot of detail, how I can see how either side said they won. Why? Because I am capable of suspending any bias I may have and analyzing matters dispassionately. I am a Maidana fan but I also comment on other fighters and fights. I'm a boxing fan foremost. Any insight I may have had leading up to the fight is based upon my knowledge of fighting mechanics. Based on my ability to analyze form. Based upon my own gleaned wisdom derived from applying practical application to a technique. In other words I train... Quite a lot. And my mind stays intent upon fight theory.
I have trained out of 3 different boxing gyms, I've been an instructor of Tai Chi and Bagua ... I suppose you would like me to be a "keyboard warrior" like you, but I'm not interested in such a fate.
I might play around with concepts of psychology. Concepts that served me well leading up to this fight. Mentality is literally the most important thing when fighting a trickster like Floyd... But don't get it twisted, I KNOW MORE THAN YOU in nearly everything, except the knowledge of the complexion of the underside of Floyd's ****ing ballsack.
I am nothing like you, if I was a fawning servile sycophant like you I would ONE myself.

Floyd fan backing up another... Imagine that what a shocker.
Y'all missed the memo. You late to this thread. It was you clones that thought this was a mismatch. Yet Maidana gave Floyd his toughest fight that he has had in years, as I, and a select other few were saying. Get over it.

Ite was a burger. Maidana just seemed to take things in stride whereas Floyd talks about being sore from his..... Training camp. Riiigghhhtt.... Anyone with a brain knows Floyd probably pissed blood that night.

You talk about being in the gym, and yet have the nerve to call 8 oz gloves sparring gloves or pillows. You can keep having fun in the gym in your dreams, because you've never been there and you're not fooling anyone but yourself.
I'm sorry that Floyd won that night because seeing you in this much pain is saddening.
