Wilfred Benitez, Hagler, Hearns and Leonard took turns beating up Roberto Duran.

Duran got KTFO in rd 2 by Hearns was one of the most brutal ko in boxing.

toughest, meanest goes to Hagler, he went toe to toe w/ Hearns, one of the hardest puncher p4p of all time and Hagler took Hearns best shots and won via rd 3 tko. Hagler = TOUGH.

While Duran got KTFO in 2.

Duran fought the Leonard, Hearns and Hagler, he will always be compared and remembered as a fighter who lost(KTFO) to those elites regardless of what weight Duran's best in.
It doesn't matter what weight Duran was best in!! he lost to the elites period!

Leonard won both fights, and Leonard knows it so he humiliated and toyed with Duran in the second fight to punctuate his point and Duran QUIT and said "no mas" in their bout ironically entitled "uno mas"

Manny Pacquiao pummeled the elite competitions.

Ferrari compared to a Ford?? LOL! @ this Pac/Pac fan hater.

Duran is one of my favorite, i've seen all his televised fights in Manila (two hours delayed ) when i was little, he is very exciting to watch always goes forward like Pac, they have somewhat similar head movements, that's probably also why this thread was started in the first place.

Pac on the other hand dominated/dominating his division. he the beat the 3 top dogs in his divisions EM, MAB, JMM (and yes JMM included, even his team knows they got lucky with the draw, and they've been ducking Pac ever since) and if they fight again, improved two power fisted Pac will stop JMM mid rounds. Pac is knocking everybody out including the legendary top dogs in his divisions.

So to say that comparing Duran to Pac is an insult to Duran is just plain wrong. peace!
A question for you,...... What division do you think was Duran's natural division? BC if you knew anything about him or his career you would know that he is considered the best lightweight ever bc he was a natural lightweight. You discounting Duran's career by his losses which happened to be at >=147, shows that you are not too familiar with Durans legacy. Duran was not a natural 140, 147, 154 or 160.

DURAN is THEE BEST 135(one hundred and thirty five pounds[aka lightweight]) ever.

DUDE, Duran was a natural 130-135 not 154 or 160. Knowing that you are talking about Duran's losses at 147, 154, 160 just shows how much you know about thee greatest LIGHTWEIGHT.

I think any real boxing fan or boxer (not you) knows that if 130 is your natural weight, it is very difficult to hold the punches of someone who is naturally 30 pounds heavier than you(in durans case- Hearns, Hagler, Benitez).

Don't flame someone who knows about Duran's career. A true boxing fan.

                    Owned beeatch!

i'm aware of Duran's legacy, and i'm not that impress.

my point was it doesn't matter what weight Duran was best in, he took those fights and lost.
