    How about this.........

How about you tell me where his new found power came from? Since you're so smart. And what are you talking about? AH has EVERYTHING to do with it! Either you are a Manny hater or you're just an unrealistic fan who can't fathom him cheating in order to defeat a beast like Pacquiao. Everyone seems to think that because Roidquez is this "cute" counter-puncher, it's what won him the fight. Not at all. It's the force of his punches during the ENTIRE fight that has me baffled. He's NEVER punched with such force before. On top of that, you do not KO Manny Pacquiao. IDC what you and all of these biased and uneducated fans say. If it happened to Floyd, what would you have said? He hit Floyd with two crunching right hands in that fight and Floyd didn't go down. Why? Because Roidquez hadn't turned into Incredible Hulk yet. That's why. If he hit Floyd with that shot, or any other welterweight, they don't get up either. I am done with this. Get your IQ up before conversing with me. And another thing, last time I checked, Manny was always strong for his size and never stretched an opponent bigger than himself. NEVER. He always had speed, power, and stamina. Roidquez strong as hell and big as hell and it's obvious.

What's next, Holyfield is scared because he doesn't feel like he needs to fight Bermane Stuverne to prove himself, and would rather only fight Wlad for one last chance at full glory? I guess Roberto Duran was scared of Darrin Van Horn, because after beating Iran Barkley, he didn't want to move down a division he'd already won a title in to face some new kid and rather wanted to beat Leonard for his 168 title instead. Definitely scared. Ducking.

      You people are ****ing pathetic.

The people *****ing in this thread are the bandwagon jumpers, the hype train creators, and the minute long fame fan boys. Boxing is better than this. Guarantee that most of the guys in here are the ones that slobbered on Matthyses nuts before Garcia, and now call him a one dimensional bum after. Same people that called Maidana a bum before Broner, now call him a beast worthy of a Mayweather fight....though when it actually comes around, they'll all pretend they said Maidana was a bum all along. Worst type of mob mentality. You guys are the ******s that would attack an old lady just because the people next to you are too. Lemmings.

You forget 20 years of hard slog, brutal wars, championship fight after championship fight, historic rivalries and legendary comebacks full of heart, blood, sweat and tears across decades and over many divisions because an old champion would rather fight for one last title in a new division rather than face just another young, brand new guy in one he already held a title in? Get the **** out. Grow a pair and think for yourself.
Yet another upset user who can't deal with an opinion other than their own and plays the Garcia/Matthysse card as if that's all the sport comes down to.

He also ducked Morales in 2006. Marquez turned down a career high payday of 1.5 million and was asking for 3.5 million. The funny thing is JMM was offered $900,000 for a PAC rematch and turned it down as he asked for $1.5 million.

Instead he fought Chris John for $31,250. lol.

When the Marquez- Morales fight was a makeable fight... Marquez acted like a diva. He's been a consistent diva as well since 2010.
How does fighting Pacquiao 4x qualify as a con on Marquez's resume. Hell I'll take any of the first three fights( even If he never officially won )over a win against Khan, Rios, or Provodnikov.Specially the first two at a time where Pacquiao was running through everyone. You talk about ducking yet forget that no one wanted any part of him at featherweight not Barerra, Morales, or Prince the only guy willing to fight him was Pacquiao everyone else claimed to high of a risk for low reward or downplayed his defensive style.

You downplay his win over Barerra yet accuse him for not fighting Morales who was even more shot and past-prime than Barerra. At least Barerra held a title when they fought. Morales was coming off the Pacquiao and Barerra trilogies at that time.

Instead of playing accountant and ridiculing a bad business decision you should praise him for taking a unification fight agains John in Indonesia where he was never going to get the judges decision. Also leave out the fact he jumped two weight divisions at 35( after becoming the oldest to win a lineal title at lightweight) to fight the p4p best boxer in the world. Which was the only time he was clearly beaten all his other loses were highly competitive.

Dey sittin ducks, dey can't defend da sweet science. Dis is another sweet case of Danny Swift/Matthysse hype.

...Or maybe they're just hard dudes to fight and the sweet science boyz aren't risk takers by nature.

That sucks Nacho said the same thing about Khan when they were both with GBP. That they were not going to be stepping stones to these fighters. I hope TR makes Rios vs Prov or Marquez vs Rios.

JMM-Morales negotiated in 2006. Marquez turned down a career high payday of 1.5 million.

Prince made Marquez wait for 2 years. Marquez was low profile back then and his style wasn't that fan friendly. (Marquez adapted later on to mix in more offence) When the time came, Prince offered Marquez a career high payday of $400,000. JMM and his team turned it down.

JMM and his team have made some strange decisions in the past when it comes to money fights. Barrera, Morales, Prince were the money fighters back then. JMM wasn't recognized. When the opportunity knocked at his door, he blew it.

He asked for more money... but then goes out of his way to face Chris John for $30,000 and change. ??? Morales was a big legacy fight then, and JMM blew it.

All the negative comments about Marquez will not change the fact that Pac was laid out cold in one of the best KO's in Boxing history.. Pac & his followers were finally put in their place in boxing history..
