JMM movement in the last two fights are horrendous. Too much mass added via Heredia's shake. Before Pacquiao's KO he was getting his arse kicked. Time get off Heredia's shake so he can move faster. It would not surprise me if Provodnikov beats him.

This kinda reminds me of when Maidana ducked Thurman.

            ........

All I'm saying is that Marquez has been very selective of his opponents since 2010 and has not necessarily faced the best possible challengers. In fact, several have called him out to fight. And he refused.

Other boxers challenged him...who were legit contenders, and the man refused.
            Khan, Rios, now Provo.

He and his management team have made questionable decisions. Opportunities came to him and he turned them down.

I'm just saying JMM is a Diva and has been acting like it for a while. If you don't want to face challenges from contenders...then just retire already. No one is asking you to stay in the GAME. It just becomes annoying after a while...the whining just makes it worse.
In reality all elite figters are Divas. Wether they have to dictate all terms on a contract or cut down their list of possible opponents simply because they can. He's fought a p4p fighter in 3 of his last 4 fights it's not likes he's fighting nobodies. Previous years it's obvious he was still chasing Pacquiao so he had no interest in "risking" a rematch by facing an opponent like Rios.

Triple G don't have to fight Ward because he's trying to unify the MW titles according to most.....but Marquez is ducking a dude who just won his first world title against a Rios softened Alvarado?!?....keep it real, Bradley's demons had him in there with Provodnikov on a suicide mission....yall giving this dude too much too fast.....dude ain't really done **** to be in Marquez's story.....dude wearing a belt that Marquez vacated years ago....Provodnikov and Marquez are on different shelves in different stores

no need for Marquez to entertain the pup and pick up a insufficient win in a tough fight.....Marquez is motivated by that WW title, not by being the lion tamer.....he's been taming the lions, nothing new......Provodnikov should be looking for Swift or Matthysse if he wanna get his face pushed in, look for Peterson if he wanna get what Bradley was supposed to give him.....Marquez don't have time to teach him about the art of kicking ass, too busy chasing historic wins.....putting the finishing touches on his legacy!!

If that's the case, why doesn't mayweather take the easy win and fight Pacquiao?.

Provodnikov just so happens to be the guy who can end this man's career. Marquez had a great run in his time, something Provodnikov cannot take, understood, but trying to belittle a dangerous fighter in Provodnikov is amusing. He might not have all the big names under his belt as of yet, but the top guys can be considered as Bradley, Pacman, Marquez, and why not Provodnikov. He may be able to stir some damage in this group if you give him the chance. Why not? He is willing to face anybody, how can you not respect that quality in a fighter..

The EXACT same term was used about Amir Khan. That Marquez wouldn't be his stepping stone, from him or Nacho. I bet they wish they'd taken that one now.
