why would he fear provodnikov when he's asking for the winner of Bradley/pac?..I think the winner of that fight is a much tougher fight than provodnikov and not only that he'd be fighting for the belt at 147 which is what he wants

Are you kidding? Provo messed Bradley up! He may not have gotten the decision, but even Bradley admitted to being damaged for three months before his speech was no longer slurred. Marquez is aware of this and wants no part of Provo because he knows the kid can hurt him.

Other than pacquiao, and a past prime Barrera, JMM's resume is not that great. The man drank his own piss for 5 or 6 straight fights. The man whines after every close fight. The man in the last 3 or 4 years has ducked Khan, Rios, and Provo.

He also ducked Morales in 2006. Marquez turned down a career high payday of 1.5 million and was asking for 3.5 million. The funny thing is JMM was offered $900,000 for a PAC rematch and turned it down as he asked for $1.5 million.

Instead he fought Chris John for $31,250. lol.

When the Marquez- Morales fight was a makeable fight... Marquez acted like a diva. He's been a consistent diva as well since 2010.

JMM fought Manny four times because he thought he could outsmart him, which he finally did in their last fight. That, Manny's over-aggression and a little PEDs helped. Provo is a big risk, which Marquez all but admitted by saying he won't be Provo's stepping stone. Pac and Provo are friends, are in the same camp and are trained by the same coach. Why should they fight each other when there are other choices?

It'll make sense once his next opponent is named. I got the feeling that Marquez knows Provo will drag him in to the trenches and maybe he feels like he doesn't have enough left.

If his next opponent is a soft touch then we know he's going for the Bradley-Pac winner and then bowing out.

Why did the fight even make it to the sixth round? Manny hit dude with BOMBS and he didn't even blink. He hates Manny's guts and have always been jealous of his wins over him. On top of that, Juan has never lifted weights during his career, he believes a boxer shouldn't lift weights, etc. Learn about the Science of boxing before you try and sound smarter than you actually are.

Marquez and Ruslan, TOP RANK. No reason to not fight besides JMM's own personal feelings of his legacy. The Floyd and Manny situation is tired.. Like I have said before, Manny and Bradley should go to Goldenboy and test all the "Ducking". I don't agree with Floyd, but we are not Floyd, and if he doesn't want Bob Arum to have any part of the money that will be made, that's his own business. It's dumb but it is what it is. Can you really say the fights with Bradley and Pacman would not have been made back to back if in that situation? Floyd is all about money and those fights would have been made, easy!

I never saw Pacman's style as being any type of danger to Floyd in the first place, would be a lopsided points match in Floyds favor in my opinion. Bradley on the other hand would be a very interesting fight given his fighting style. Bradley cashed out and signed the extended contract with Top Rank.
