Eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao has turned his back on a potential fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. Pacquiao, who returns on April 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, was hoping to lure Mayweather in the ring in 2014.

It appears Mayweather, who returns on May 3rd, is not willing to negotiate until Pacquiao becomes a free agent at the end of the year when his contract with Top Rank expires.

What source did Edward Chaykovsky use to compile this half-assed, incomplete report? Was he afraid to inflame Floydfans & Floydiots' passions here and start a riot? He cut off the most challenging and gutsiest words I've ever seen come from Pacman. It looks like Floyd finally struck a nerve with his insults, and Manny finally had enough BS and fired back in anger. Finally! But it's still kind of lame, too tempered down by his Christian spirit. This message is coming from a huge Mayweather supporter. But Pacman is right in that FM is making conditions that he know PAC can't meet. All he talks about is ppv numbers when nobody gives a fk about that. We the fans pay you to fight, we don't pay to see your ppv results. Talking about PAC has a boss, well you have a boss too. Named GBP, and Al Haymon. The difference is, PAC fights whoever his boss say fight, and Floyd don't. Why was Arum not an issue when you called PAC and offered him 40mill. You guys need to see thru the FM bull**** and quit blaming PAC. FM says he loves money so much, I guess he doesn't love it that much when it comes to MP. And we all know that could possibly be the biggest money fight in history. Hmmm

Well said. No need to apologize for a lengthy post if it's well written and the logic and truth can't be denied. Sometimes critical thinking is an impossibility with certain Floydiots, and you have to break things down in a simpler way for them to understand, or to hammer home simple concepts that just goes over their heads. It helps too if you can provide pictures in between paragraphs to hold their attention span. LOL

For your information, the forum allows a post to be a maximum of 10,000 characters long. I know this first hand because of a reply (which was 10681 characters and had to be split) to a Floydiot All-Star/Hall of Famer named SlyRacoon who just begged me to own him.

OMG, did I just read a very unbiased post from a mayweather fan? Kudos to you for seeing through the nonsense and hitting the nail on the head. Legacy is built in the ring, not on PPV numbers. In the end, nobody cares about losses if they come against other greats of your time. Mayweather doesn't want to make $125 million in 36 minutes of most likely a winnable fight for him and it boggles my mind why.

You're spot on about legacy. But straight out of the horse's mouth: "Legacy don't pay bills." So it is mind boggling why he don't want to pay those bills by meeting that easy-work one-dimensional yellow midget in the ring and whooping that a$$ for that record-breaking payday.

each time he's offered manny the fight manny has refused. Floyd hasn't beaten manny for the same reason Leonard didn't beat Pryor (which huirts me to admit because I hate SRL more than almost any fighter and I really liked Hawk)

They went all the way to mediation to work out a deal.i wouldn't say that's actually refusing. Sadly, an agreement over days before fight testing couldn't be reached.Manny was willing after that to do day of testing and less money but still no deal. Blame falls on both ends my friend.

bollocks. fans are entitled to say whatever they think, after all, they pay the money. especially when it comes to the sports self proclaimed greateset ever fighter refusing to fight his chief rival.

No one's saying that "fans" don't have the right to their opinions, because they do. The price of a PPV does not entitle a fan to their own facts. And again, I don't get why Pac fans oversimplify why this fight isn't happening, foisting everything on Floyd as if all the cards are in his hands and they simply aren't. You can repeat it a thousands times and it will not make it any more true. Manny Pacquiao has a boss that calls all of the shots concerning his career. Floyd does not fight TR fighters, he left Arum on very bad terms and hasn't fought a TR fighter since. Could there be a correlation?

Here's how I see it after reading these forums for a while. Manny fans actually want the fight to happen and Floyd fans accept every reason for the fight never happening. I'm a fan of both guys but I know for a fact Manny would fight Floyd tomorrow if Arum said that's the opponent. Floyd, I'm not so sure....

This would never happen so your speculation is completely baseless. I don't even consider Floyd's side of the equation, because as long as Manny remains an indentured servant to Arum nothing else in this world matters period.

he refused 50/50 which is why it went to mediation. he refused $40 mil no ppv.
