The Racket Squad: The Cowardly Lion: When Skill and Mouth Collide

When the Khan Job is over and the numbers are calculated, higher powers may somehow discover a way to make this fight happen in September.
If not, it will surely be part of the Mo Money, Farewell Showtime Contract Tour.
If Pacquiao fares well in April, the clamor will be reasonable enough to demand that Mayweather face Manny and secure a vital Hall of Fame credential.

Pac has faced the best of his time at various weights and career stages.
It is a resume of mythical proportion.
Any assertion that this prizefighter is unworthy of a Mayweather fight when Guerrero, Alvarez and Khan are, is suspect at best, delusional at worst and seemingly confined to those who have an unfounded hatred for the man.

There is little doubt that Floyd has ducked Pacquiao because he 'assumed' Manny was juicing.
It's time that he resolve his unproven paranoia.

Unfortunately boxing is a business and we forget that as fans sometimes and we wish every fight could get made. I like Floyd and Manny, just hope they fight someday...
Cotto's fight against Margarito was probably his most emotional win to date and he looked spectacular doing it. Don't forget after the hand warps came out Cotto began to think that Margarito used the same illegal hand wraps against him, so this was a very personal fight for him. Even though it was a catchweight it catapulted Cotto to the top of 154.

At this point Floyd needs the fight to help solidify his place as an alltime great and possibly the greatest fighter of his generation. There is nothing he can do to solidify his self appointed position as greatest of all time. I thing Floyd at this point ndue to comments he has made in the past needs to prove to the world that he isn't affraid to fight Manny Pacquiao and prove to himself that he can beat Manny Pacquiao. Manny needs this fight to prove that he is the better fighter between he and Floyd and to lessen the impact of his ko loss to JMM. Manny has a lot of great wins but a lot of them are kind of watered down. His close decisions vs. JMM, his catch weight fights for 2 of his titles, one coming against a guy who had done nothing in the weight class to be in a title fight, the realistic (su****ion) of juicing, his loss to Bradley, whom he should have brutally ko'd, lastly his initial refusal to take the tests, because of his fear of being weak on fight night when the Mayweather fight was offered at 50/50. Honestly from a legacy stand point they both need for the fight to happen and it better be sooner than later before someone talkes a loss or someone else takes another loss. JMO.

You are right, he was best at 147...before he fought Margarito.
how can you duck a guy that you've already beaten to a pulp? Come on man.

If Manny has his own promotional company, why is he still signed to TR anyways? Floyd has his own promotional company but he's not contractually tied to anyone and he only works with GBP.

Pacquiao faced David Diaz for his lightweight title when Casamayor was the man to beat at lightweight. Then JMM, chasing Manny up the scales took the lineal championship from Casamayor in his first fight at the weight. Do you really think Margarito was the best JMW that Pacquiao could have fought for a JMW title. Cotto had been worked over by Marvs and imo loss to Clottey before he fought Manny at a catch weight and even when Cotto was 154 champ, Pacquiao wanted to rematch him for his title at a catchweight again.

Manny walked away ONLY to later get called out for giving blood right before the Hatton bout. These things are all documented. I do appreciate your maturity when replying to my posts by the way.

You have the right to your opinion. Floyd is still considered a better Super Feather weight than Manny Pacquiao. Floyd accomplishments at 130 are regarded higher than Manny's. Check that stat for yourself.
