you are not buying a fight because floyd is calling manny names? you can't be serious.

As to the TS, Maidana is a much better choice of opponent for floyd IMO trhan khan. Kan doesn't deserv a ww title fight at this point.

How many WW fites did Ortiz have before getting a Berto title shot? or Bradley with Pacquiao?

Well i do too in a way, but only if he fought with his own offensive style and the flurries.....which does leave him open to be countered.
Hunter probably has Khan thinking he can outbox him.... I hope not. That'd be horrible for Khan going into the fight. Floyd is a lot older than he used to be and Khan can probably steal a decision with enough activity.
Khan has fast hands, but that chin and who knows how he'll react to Floyd's counters. Floyd can legit knock him out.

I re-watched some of Khan-Diaz. Khan's new style appears to be flurry then move, flurry then move. Hunter is teaching him not to stay in the pocket, so if the fight is made (which I doubt) Floyd may have to cut off the ring on Amir which would be an interesting role reversal as Floyd hasn't looked as comfortable on the front foot.

What difference does it make?
If Maidana steps in the same ring with Floyd Mayweather we all clearly know the result at the end will be that Maidana gets absolutely schooled!
You don't go from losing a wide UD to Devon Alexander a few fights ago to fighting the best fighter in the welterweight division!!!

I'd much rather see Amir Khan fight Floyd only because Khan is fast and it s harder to counter punch that kind of fighter especially if Khan comes out with the right game-plan.

I definitely don't see how people see Khan getting KO'ed by Floyd not unless you know a sucker punch is bound to happen in this fight?

Flurry was probably the wrong term, I meant he throws a combination then moves. He's much more cautious now and still makes mistakes but if he does employ that style it could work well against Floyd since FMJ isn't used to being the hunter.

I've always thought he could steal a decision that way, I've also thought he could get KTFO that way.
IMO, he certainly didn't do himself any favors by fighting only once this year, Floyd actually fought more this year than him.

Khan needs to go back to the basics as he did in the Kotelnik/Paulie fights.

Quick feet, in and out movement, jab, jab - get out, jab, get a right hand in, use the ring. If he can do that it will be an interesting fight. If he goes in reckless like the Garcia/Diaz fight, he'll get picked apart.

But at least the Khan fight has the 'what if' factor. I don't think the Maidana fight has that.
