That makes no sense in answering my post , do your hear voices ?

The hype is all well and good...but only when it's official.

I don't see any Pac fans posting since the fight seems to be closer that all of the sudden the fight shouldnt happen or its minimized somehow because of only Pacs career...come on...get off Floyds ballsack
well I understand what kind of fan you are so I will leave you to yourself.

I'm wondering whether Floyd and Manny talking will help or hinder the negotiations. We all know Floyd speaks for himself but it's Arum who negotiates on Manny's behalf. If FM starts talking directly to MP (and deliberately excludes Arum) then it can actually become more problematic.
FM should get all the players in one room and have it hammered out. Having one on one chats while excluding a number of other influencial people will hurt the process.

You haven't seen the tweets posted from the guys who were right there? scroll back a couple of pages. In fact, go to Fighthype, they're reporting the same things.

I based my opinion on what I've been reading from you Weebler. Sorry but that's what it seems like. Reading the stuff from yesterday and today I felt compelled to respond to a poster who while I may not always agree with, has been one I have respected, even when we are at each other. I did same when you went on the JMM stuff.

We both watch all boxing, but only you had to deal with Floyd defeating your favorite fighter.
Yesterday, as far as I was concerned the fight was close to being made with the announcement to be made next week. Rafael, Malignaggi, Theophane had all dropped hints to that end.

If my posts sound pissed off it's because it now seems further away than ever and we're hearing the same old stories.

Manny Pacquiao barely cracks by top 10 favorite fighters, Keith Thurman is actually higher on my list. I'm primarily a fan of exciting punchers, Matthysse, Kovalev, Beterbiev etc. I want the fight to happen as soon as possible, imo Floyd has declined more than Pacquiao and I'm picking the latter by decision. I can't be any more clear.

My problem with this is that earlier in the day the news was that the terms were agreed to on paper and were sent to the lawyers to draw up contracts that needed to be signed...now supposedly Floyd and Pac have to talk to get the fight made??? Who initiated this necessity for them to talk to get the fight made all of a sudden...FLOYD. What more can be said at this point? Does Floyd have additional demands that have not been sent back and forth between the two parties to this point???? Look, the guy is intent on tanking this if he can...its obvious to anyone accept the most extreme Floyd fans...the morons, in other words....60/40 split is fair and should be in the check box at this point. All of the ppv numbers, etc excuses are a joke...Floyd will never make more money even at 60/40 for this fight, on any other fight for the remainder of his career...and if he loses, he stands to make another mint! Hell, lose on purpose Floyd, if its all about the money! Rake in even more cash on the rematch, ya greedy bastard! ..Its floyd, it always has been...quit putting up roadblocks, you dumb n word and sign a contract..(.yes, there is a difference..just as Chris Rock.)

Bob would never allow all the players in one room , he will be livid Floyd met Manny and he will love it that Koncz said he only says what Bob tells him , Manny is a puppet on a short string .

Mayweather visits Pacquiao at hotel after NBA meet-up

Pacquiao's close friend Bernard Cloma confirmed that the two met up privately at Pacquiao's hotel to discuss the fight one-on-one

                  Nissi Icasiano

MANILA, Philippines - Following their chance meeting during an NBA game at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Fla., Floyd Mayweather Jr. personally visited Manny Pacquiao at his hotel to have a closed-door dialogue with boxing's only eight-division world champion.

Pacquiao's close friend Bernard Cloma confirmed the private dialogue between the two decorated pugilists in an interview with ABS-CBN's radio station DZMM, stating that both men had an extensive chat at the living room of the unnamed hotel.

"Yes, Mayweather went to the hotel and visited Manny. They had a long talk," he said in Filipino.

Although Cloma admitted that he was not inside the room, he stressed that Pacquiao's wife Jinkee and adviser Michael Koncz were present to oversee the conversation.

Cloma also dismissed FightHype.com's report that Mayweather told Pacquiao to "stop lying" about signing any contract regarding their long-awaited showdown when the two met at center court during the halftime of the Miami Heat vs. Milwaukee Bucks fixture on Wednesday, January 28.

"That's not true. He only gave his mobile number to Manny and said that both of them should communicate with each other," he claimed.

Cloma refused to reveal the other details of the hotel meeting between Pacquiao and Mayweather, but he confidently stressed that the mega-fight will come into fruition.

"It will happen on May 2," Cloma quipped.

There have been numerous dialogues between Pacquiao and Mayweather in the past, but for several reasons, the talks always collapsed.

The first negotiations in 2009 fell through after Mayweather demanded Pacquiao to go through random blood testing up to the official weigh-in, which was initially turned down by the Filipino boxing icon.

Mayweather offered Pacquiao $40 million for the fight in 2012, but the American refused to give the latter a share of the pay-per-view revenue, which was viewed as unfair by the renowned Pinoy southpaw.

With the potential to break pay-per-view and gate attendance records, the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight has long been considered as the richest bout that can be made in the sport.

Earlier this month, Pacquiao already gave his approval to the terms that were presented to him by Mayweather for a 12-round encounter on May 2 (May 3 in PH) at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena, with a 60/40 purse split that would favor the sport's pound-for-pound king.

Aside from the date, location and purse split of the heavily-hyped confrontation, the renowned southpaw from General Santos City accepted the drug testing protocols to be followed for the fight as Pacquiao and Mayweather are likely to undergo Olympic-style random screening.

However, the 37-year-old Mayweather has yet to commit to a marquee match-up that has been more than five years in the making.

Still standing as the crucial point of the negotiation would be securing the pay-per-view network partner as Mayweather maintained on several occasions that that the bout should be broadcasted on Showtime, while Pacquiao is hooked with HBO.

Last week, Pacquiao stressed that he is only giving Mayweather by the end of January to seal the deal.

On the other hand, Mayweather asserted that Pacquiao does not have the right to call the shots and blamed Arum for the delay of the mega-fight.

Further doubts were cast upon the Pacquiao vs. Mayweather duel taking place when the negotiation for an in-ring faceoff between Miguel Cotto and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez broke down.

There is a possibility that Mayweather could choose a rematch with Cotto instead, nearly three years after convincingly outpointing the Puerto Rican slugger. - Rappler.com

Yes Arum will be pissed off. All the more reason why I'm saying the "chance" meeting between FM and MP could actually make things worse.
