What does that matter, Floyd made $70 something million to fight Canelo...he'd be making $100 million plus to fight Pacquaio..so he himself is going to see numbers he's never seen...see how that works both ways. Does Floyd even need this money? When does it stop being only about money? I feel as though i'm reading comments on hip-hop circa 2002 where it's all about sales and stats and not about the quality. He looks for the weakest link but biggest name whom he can't lose against. He fought The Ghost, he fought Alvarez, he fought Ortiz. None of these fighters had a REAL chance to take his 0. Alvarez was drained and too inexperienced. Ortiz is a C-level fighter and so is The Ghost. So what has Floyd proved over the last couple of years? I guess he'll never know how good he is because he doesn't have the balls to challenge himself. He's over-rated and a bully in my eyes for that reason. I respect fighters like Ward, Cotto, Pacquiao, Bradley, and Khan because they WILL fight whoever; win, lose, or draw. It may back-fire on him. Khan can outpoint Floyd. Floyd thinks he's going to KO Khan and pull another unworthy win but what if Khan has better punch resistance at 147? What if he is too fast for Floyd? What if he is actually learning to be defensively responsible? Now, it is an interesting fight, that could be one of the biggest upsets of all-times. By the time the fight happens, he will have been off an entire year.

Floyd can't fight if manny turns it down. It matters because one of the criticisms manny fans had regarding tim and JMM were they refused to fight when manny offered them their biggest paydays ever. So its hard to criticize them for that when manny did same on 2 occassions.

Word is floyd made $88-95 mil of the canelo fight. You can always use more money.

Stop all the nonsense about Floyd getting a bye. If Floyd deserves a bye, then he should only demand the money that goes along with fighting a soft touch but of course, we all know that is never going to happen. Besides Manny Pacquaio, Khan is probably the only other marketable fight out there so personally, I don't have a problem with him facing Khan, it is simply about economics. He just needs to own up to it and call it exactly what it is rather than trying to pull a wool over everyone's eyes with all this nonsense about he doesn't know who he's going to fight. It's certainly a much easier fight than Pac but then again, he has shown me a lot more than Pac has lately to suggest to me who might win a potential match up. I could care less all of the posturing from either side to make the fight 'cos at this point, the fight has lost all of its lustre so personally I don't care to see it at this point. Unfortunately as a boxing fan, I will continue to buy either PPVs regardless of who they are fighting. Call me a sucker but my loyalty is to boxing overall.
