Floyd fans don't want the Manny fight because they think he gets no credit for beating Manny. They say why deal with the headache of negotiations when he won't even get credit for the win. But a fight against Khan, that's cool lol

WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!!! I am a huge fan of Floyd's but I'm a lifelong boxing fan first!!! I thought when Floyd PERSONALLY called Manny on the phone and challenged him the fight would happen then I thought for sure when Team Pac claimed they would fight Floyd but he's going to jail then when the judge allowed Floyd an extension the fight would surely happen but again I was wrong. It was very clear that Manny NEVER wanted to fight Floyd, it's beyond me why people think Floyd didn't want this fight, "WHAT THE FYCK MORE CAN HE DO? I don't blame Floyd for not wanting any part of negotiating with Team Roid but at the same time Khan is not deserving of a fight with Floyd either!!! Certainly not a PPV fight!!!

I think Floyd is a clown as much as the next guy but let's be real about this, with all of Arum's talk, he was clearly chatting ****. After the Manny-Rios fight, Bob changed his tune and was saying Floyd's team know his number and if they want to negotiate a fight with Manny they should get in contact.

If Arum was really interested in making that fight, he would've made contact to start the negotiations. To be honest, with all the business/politics involved in the Sport and both fighters in question on opposing sides, this fight happening isn't realistic. Both sides are to blame and I'm really not that interested in this contest in 2014. It's too late for it to be competitive.

I really wish Floyd chooses someone other than Khan though, he's the most undeserving of the few fighters being mentioned but it's a 'business' and Khan probably brings in more money than anyone else. It's ****ed but it is what it is.

I'm in a funny place about this fight, on 1 hand Amir does not deserve this fight in the slightest (even though I'm a fan). On the other hand if it gets made at Wembley then it will be my only opportunity to see Mayweather live before he retires and I'm sure alot of people over here will feel the same way. As for PPV money the hardcore fans like us must admit that it's the casual fan that makes up the numbers and they'll sell it just right over here, I wouldn't imagine the casual fan over here realises that Khan is pretty shot either (crazy considering he's 27), I reckon it will be a much harder sell to the American's though and considering we've got 1/5 of the population size then that's obviously very important.

As a boxing fan the fight is pretty much pointless however, it's one of those where I literally can't find a way that Khan could win, hell Floyd could even adopt Margaritos style and he'd still win. I don't know maybe Khan isn't shot, it did get me thinking a little bit the other day how Porter dealt with Alexander and obviously he drew with Diaz so maybe Julio still had alot left, but it's clutching at straws...

Realistically (no top rank options), Danny Garcia has earned every right to be the one to challenge Floyd. Hes beaten guys he wa put up against to lose : khan, matthyse etc. and has beat a legend through morales. Lara just earned his right too but i dint think floyd likes fighting too much above 147
But garcia has no big following, khan has a little but only way fight would be bigis if it was in england like the hatton fight.

No great champion in my lifetime has ever fought all hard fights with no byes, they all took tune-ups and Floyd coming off the tear he's been on highly deserves one also. Haters are silly, small-minded people who will find something with everything Floyd does. If Floyd would've fought Rios people would be ready to hang him but fake azz Manny get's a bye for fighting this C rated light-wt who even loss @ 135 (see Richard Abril). I don't think that Khan is worthy of that bye but I understand the economics, still I don't agree and certainly not on PPV. Hopefully if Floyd wants a U.K. fight he'll choose Kell Brooke. We should all ban the WBC for ranking A mere Con in the Top 15 @ 147 and ranking Manny #1 after beating Rios is also de****able. Far too many more deserving fighters @ 147!!!!!

Schaffer went on a rant about Arum calling Floyd-Khan a farce (which everyone agrees) and lectures everyone about negotiations only to turn around and make the Khan fight anyway.

You're a funny guy shade darkar. floyd has to acknowledge manny/bob's fake challenge to show he wants the fight to you. when floyd agrees to 50/50 or offers manny $40 mil you post he doesn't want it. when manny refuses these offers you post manny wants to fight.
