Floyd won a belt at JMW more then 3 times..Yes I believe he can fight there and be effective there..I'm not calling for Tim to fight Mayweather cause like you said,Tim stayed with TR..So why call for something so unrealistic..Do you see me in any Mayweather Pac threads at all??No,not at least until that fight has a real shot at being made..I can care less..Here this fight can be made..It's the best fight that can be made for May on the GBP stable..

I'm a believer in a good fight sells it self(with the right promotion of course lol)I believe this fight will sell..I understand Floyd makes money on the side from concession movie tickets etc etc..He could still make that with Lara..I just feel a good fight is a good fight..I also don't see why this fight could not happen..There is no legit reason bro..
OK. I can understand this point. If you can't see the opponent winning, maybe the problem isn't the opponent but the self realization that floyd just may be one of the greatest to ever do it. I can agree that Ghost and Maidana are not the best ww's he can fight in a perfect word.

I don't know about playing behind the 8 ball though-the reality is the top 3 ww's-Tim, Manny and JMM would all be 3-1 underdogs at least.

Have you asked yourself why GBP isn't pushing this fight? What do they have to lose?

Floyd is a better 'boxer' but they're not worlds apart in that department. Lara has the natural size and power advantage. Floyd wouldn't be able to tag him like he's been tagging some of the walking punchbags he's fought recently. It would be an 'awful' fight for people who don't appreciate the s technical side of the game.

And using triangle theories to validate a point isn't a smart move. Styles make fights etc. Molina didn't outbox Lara, he spoiled throughout the fight. I had Lara winning it anyway, but that's besides the point.

A huge draw, should Mayweather lose to Lara..I mean could you imagine how bad it would be if Lara beat Mayweather..Lara would never be Mayweather(drawing wise)..That's something very big to lose..Hell it's the same reason they taking their time on matching Alvarez with Lara..

They may all be underdogs..May is clearly one of the ATG,best that ever do it,can't co-sign that one..It's cause of things like this that I can't..Ortiz Guerrero Alvarez(although I give Floyd major credit for Alvarez)just is not how I measure up best to ever do it..Now check this list out..

            Martinez
            Lara
            Bradley
            Pac..

This will show if he was the best to ever do it..

That's because the difference between Khan and Maidana was slight either way. Both guys are known and marketable though.

How many black cuban boxers do you know what are marketable? Do you think anyone outside of hardcore fans knows who Lara is?

                .
He never said he was the best to ever do it. Said he was one of the best to ever do it. Big difference. And fighting the guys you listed isn't going to make him the best to ever do it anyways.

It would give him more of a case to measure up to guy's like Duran SRL SRR ALI so on and so forth..Pretty much get him in the top 20 or top 10 talk...

Canelo is a GBP fighter, floyd is not. GBP would still be promoting floyd's fights for a percentage(of course it woud be lower) and would still get Lara who would surely get some type of boost in fans fom beating floyd.

Yes, him going up to MW as a ww and beating sergio would've enhanced his legacy. But not doing that doesn't affect his legacy. Bradley and Manny-we know why the fights haven't happened. Lara, respectfully, doesn't bring the same legacy enhancements as beating the others would.

I didn't say he was the the best to ever do it, I said perhaps you realize he is one of the best and that is why you can't see how world class fighters can't beat him.

SO out of a career of 45 fights-the fact he fought ghost, ortiz and canelo after age 34 weighs more heavily on his career ranking than other wins? Thats a tough standard.

All these guys have output until they face a B-Hop, Floyd, Lara, Rigondeaux.
The more you open up the more openings you leave and that applies to any fighter.

What makes you think volume is key?

Floyd thrives off volume punchers hence he is fighting Maidana next. He don't want none of a rangy, fast, slick, fleet footed, Cuban counterpuncher. He had problems with much smaller, weaker, frankly horse**** versions of Lara in Judah & Corley, he'll be right out of his comfort zone against Lara who won't care about initiating.

4 fights left and all 4 will be flat-footed, slow garbage. He isn't fighting nobody that isn't made to order.
