I would like to see this match up. It could be fun or ugly. But it makes more sense than some of the other guys Floyd has fought.

Like i said no way in fking hell Floyd does a fight with High risk without high reward. If he does a no high reward fight you can bet anything is against someone he can easily dispose of.

This is a (Not "THE" but "A") legit fight that any boxing fan should want and should approve of.

Anybody discrediting a win over Lara would be opening themselves up for mass ridicule. A win over Lara would honestly be perhaps floyd's very best win.
people may look back and say oscar whatever whatever ... but if he beat Lara ... at this respective point in their careers it would be floyd's most impressive win in his whole career in my opinion.

Now if Lara went on to beat Canelo and Molina, this would be the fight at 154 for Floyd. Thing is Floyd would fight the cotto/ Martinez winner before ever considering Lara. And that's a much better fight anyways.
I swear to God YOU better not say Khan

Why mfers acting like if Mayweather fight Khan he won't be criticized heavily and I mean extremely criticized. All the Mayweather haters is going to be fapping at the crap storm.. They live for the day Floyd messes up and I think Floyd really going to listen to you dummies and think you guys want that tossed crap Khan fight.

The following things about this fight are true:
1. Lara is a far more credible opponent than Amir Khan
2. Lara would be a significantly better win for Floyd than Amir Khan
3. The Lara fight would be an easy fight to make
4. If Floyd did dominate Lara, then it would be a more boring fight than the Khan fight because of Lara's style.
No.4 should not be enough to overrule the first 3. Lara is a legitimate opponent for Floyd, and he poses a legitimate threat. Yes, it's possible that the fight could be pretty dull if Floyd proves much too much for Lara, but it's still better than seeing Floyd toy with someone like Khan who has no hope at all on any level.
Lara would prove a stiffer test of Floyd's skills, and outclassing a guy like Lara is a far, far more impressive addition to Floyd's legacy than beating a guy who's not rated that highly by anyone. On the other hand, if Lara's in the fight then the competitiveness alone will make it exciting.
Lara's not some beast, he's just a very skilled fighter who is worthy of sharing the ring with the best competition. Khan, with all due respect, is not.
