I'll gladly eat humble pie, I'm not one of those delusional fanboys, I pay my dues when a boxer wins fair and square and puts up a great fight

Ive changed my opinion of some boxers after they proved their worth such as Danny Garcia

Because Groves came out talking about how he's owed a rematch and demands a big split. It's just negotiations.

The rest of that stuff is irrelevant, this is boxing and Froch will not walk away from the rematch, it's not in his character.

Hearn has already said the financial split is the only issue, i.e. Groves has to decide how much money he's going to ask for.

I don't know why you are so confident he'll rematch him or in his character. He often manipulates and lies.

IBF/WBA "regular" super middleweight champion Carl Froch is looking for other options in the near future - and those options do not include a rematch with domestic rival George Groves (19-1, 15KOs). Last weekend, Groves dropped Froch (32-2, 23KOs) hard in the first round and rocked the veteran several times in the course of the fight. Groves was ahead on all three of the official cards when Froch stunned him in the ninth and the referee, Howard Foster, jumped in for a controversial ending.

"As much as the fans want to see it reach a natural conclusion against George Groves, with me knocking him out again, I feel personally I gave him his chance and he blew it - he can't cut it at world level," said Froch to BBC East Midlands.

"I've done my job and it's time to move on, but we'll see what happens. I'm not motivated by money, I'm motivated by securing a legacy and the love for my sport that I have."

unless Ward comes to the UK (doubt it) what fight is there for Froch other than Groves?

Groves is a ****ing wizard at trashtaking, and he was making froch look like he was about to go ape**** . Imagin the trashtalk Groves would bring now that he has put froch on the ground and dominated him most rounds.

The build up would be epic, and everyone would love to see it

There is no pay check bigger for him than this, the Ward fight will not generate this money nor will a fight against Chavez

The only reason he will turn it down because he is scared he might lose
No way Groves-Froch II does more than Haye-Fury.

That being said, they could probably do 60k, but it's not ideal and it won't happen. In all likeliness it will happen in an in-door arena once more. O2 is a great arena imo. Possibly the best 20k+ arena in the world.

You know Groves is English too right? Froch is actually part Polish.
