i doubt it happens unless froch gets a huge some. they will have to pay him to get him in the ring again because it's not a mandatory. froch will seek the biggest paycheck from here on out. great effort groves but he didn't get it done. i'd love to see it but this is boxing. you have to make every chance count because there may never be another. ask david tua...

If they can fill out a stadium, this will more than likely be Frochs biggest payday, many advertisers will want part of this, the gate money, pay per view money

Haye vs Fury was 5 million each, this will be more.

There is no pay check bigger for him than this, the Ward fight will not generate this money nor will a fight against Chavez

The only reason he will turn it down because he is scared he might lose

if they can pay him he will take the fight. personally i don't think froch will get tagged again like he did in the first. he took 6 rounds to recover from the knockdown then he started landing his shots in the 7th. i think groves would be the easiest fight for him to take out of all his options. if the money is right there will be a rematch. froch is taking cheap shots so the potential is there. groves is the good & froch i the evil with the hot wife & belts. the fight could be marketed over there but what if HBO has an offer like Chavez junior in the alamodome? Chavez jr draws 30000 fighting nobody... vegas & msg are the meccas of boxing. the big stage is in the US...

They can't select a British ref if so.

I will be gutted if Froch fights Ward. What a waste of time.

Doesn't even matter Chavez attracts 30,000

there is no pay per view money in a Froch fight or a damand

Also Froch can get a larger chunk of the pay packet in a Groves fight, he could walk away with well over 6 to 7 million, and there is no fight, not even a Chavez fight that will give him that kind of money

You need to get ur head out of the sand, and deal with reality, this here might go down as the top 3 most lucrative British fights, if not no 1

Hern is rubbing his hands, its up to Froch if he wants the money

As of this moment, the poll vote is 25-1 in favour of a rematch.

Unless I miss my guess, the one vote against will be by a new poster using the name "Farl Croch".

what does froch make now? i didn't even think he fought on PPV in England. if he fought bute or pascal in Quebec it would be on PPV here. i watched froch\groves with my regular cable package. if it's PPV then it would make sense & i'm sure froch would take it. my head is not in the sand, the only place that i hear about this fight is by british fight fans on this site. i myself want froch\bute 2 or pascal in Quebec... i might attend the event...

Feel bad for Carl. Has to rematch Groves because of the damn ref. He'd rather be fighting in Vegas against Chavez Jr/GGG.

why does he have to fight him? he beat him & groves was his mandatory so he doesn't owe him anything. too bad it was howard foster & not steve smoger as the ref. froch wants ward & he has said it numerous times well before this fight was made. mandatories are a thorn in the champions side in boxing. if the money is too good to pass up this rematch will happen but there are other lucrative options out there so i'm assuming he will take his time & carefully select the best fight for him. he is 36 & has fought the best so he is the one who calls the shots...
