In every fight you've watched when a guy his losing his corner tells him to go for the KO to win. How many times have you heard a trainer tell a guy who is winning a fight to do same?
As I said in the initial post, if floyd is ahead in round 8 or 9, his opponents have a choice. they can try for the KO to win, or they can settle for a UD loss. If the situation was reversed and floyd was losing-it would be on him to try and get the KO-not his opponent.
No figter that has firmly established a lead in a fight should risk losing the fight for the sake of getting a KO. A ko win doesn't count more or less than a UD win.

Floyd vs Hatton and Cotto were pretty good though but his last 2 bored me after a few rounds. Ortiz fight is hard to judge.
There's better fights throughout the year and past years that are better enjoyment than Floyd fights, for example Ruslan vs Alvarado this Saturday will be a more exciting fight than the Canelo fight and that isn't on PPV.
Floyd is on PPV because he is a Megastar personality out of the ring, his undefeated record, people wanting to see him lose and the fact that in the lower weight classes he was very entertaining which is what originally got him fans in the first place.

Respectfully, in no sport would we ask any team or individual to risk losing by trying to achieve a "better" margin of victory.
In basketball you hold on to your lead by running down the shot clock while the opponent gets desperate and tries to shoot 3's and pick the pace up.
In football you hold on to your lead by running the clock down while the other team calls more aggressive plays on offense.
Those fans pay a lot of money for their tickets too.
But in boxing, when you have a lead your supposed to take risks that can cost you your win? Its up to the guy that's losing to take risks and catch up on the scorecards or score a knockdown. The difference in boxing is that you can actually lose 11 rounds and still have a chance in the 12th by getting the KO. But I don't see Canelo, Guerrero or Cotto getting criticized.

You complain about being frustrated becuase the fights are anti climactic and then say its just on Floyd's opponents to fix that. Well maybe Floyd should choose different opponents.

THere comes a point when we can predict the outcome. At that point, the loser needs to do something to alter the predicted outcome.

I don't understand how mayweather catches so much crap? The guy is 36 and schooling these young fighters. Its well documented he has brittle hands so its not like he can just KO anyone he wants whenever he wants.
his hands were a mess after the guerrero fight

Never... He's boring as hell, most fans here confuse running with defense & being slick. You can be a defensive pure boxer with out getting on you bike, pop shot, not taking ANY risk to please the fans.
I guess the Castillo,ODH & Cotto were exiting, but only because those 3 are always in exiting fights & they show up to fight. The Cotto fight was exiting (well to Mayweather standard) because Miguel always makes his fights fan friendly.
