Although they may have increased means to avoid detection.
I do personally think that 24/7 365 testing of athletes may be unduly costly financially and otherwise and that other methods of harm reduction may be the better alternative.

He has lost his objectivity and credibility.
I don't think he has lost credibility, if you are correct about his alignment then certainly he is giving an unbalanced assault but his claims may still have merit.

either way, I would hope we could get something more credible.

If he were serious, he'd try to shine more light into NSACs random drug testing program. Because if NSAC is pressured enough, they can do 24/7 testing for everyone. And if someone gets caught, we know there will be a penalty, or at least potentially. With VADA 24/7, if a fighter tests positive outside of competition, there will be no penalty! None whatsoever. So what is the point? That writer is such a moron, I guarantee he never even considered this point.

As with the previous pieces, he could leave out the "rumors" stuff and just address the issue. He seems to be addressing only Haymon/GBP fighters, with the usual Mayweather stuff.

Let's face it. Many boxers don't trust USADA. But what can they do when powerful people in the sport could pay their cheating ways out of getting caught by hiring USADA. They have the money. Many boxers don't. And the sad thing is the ONE who started it all gets credit for starting and take advantage of it at the same time. He gets away with positive test results, his opponents don't. So much for level playing field.
Boxers want VADA, Haymon fighters refuse.Last edited by maguirre; 10-07-2013, 02:35 PM.

Look at the site he writes for, what ads do you see plastered all over it~ you know how websites stay up thus pay their writers. With ads and Top Rank is the main sponsor of that page just looking at it for one second.

I think he's talked about it enough in the past and now CBS is trying to market the cleaner version of floyd so I expect less of a lot of stuff he used to do.
