Canelo was around 7/2 just for the win, the day before the fight. I checked with all the major bookmakers.

2009-2010, Pacquiao was odds on to beat Mayweather, Floyd was odds on too, it was seen as a 50/50 fights by the bookmakers.

Pacquiao was shorter odds winning by KO whilst Floyd was short odds winning via the decision.

During this time Floyd went on vacation.

If there is ever a biographical book about Floyd it should be called the "Vacation".
    Hahahahahahahaha! Is this post serious!

Did you just call Cotto one of the best welterweights ever? Watch some more boxing this conversation is not worth having~
Barrera just put a end to Hamed, finished off Morales and was favourite for the fight, Pacquiao was stepping up to fight him.

Hatton was the man at 140lbs, unbeaten at that weight, coming off a great performance against Paulie.

Cotto, best fight available, Mayweather ducked out of the fight, by choosing to fight lightweight Marquez and announcing on the day of the Pacquiao Hatton fight. If he just waited a day. But Floyd was weary even back then.

You sound like an ugly female mad at the pretty girl who's getting more compliments and attention than you think that she should get. One doesn't need to ignore anything to appreciate Mayweather's greatness and everything that he has for in the ring up until this point. People like you want to discredit or belittle what he has done based on what he hasn't done, and that's the mentality of a hater. We've all had the "who did Mayweather duck" arguments ad nausem and it's really just nit picking. Stop it.

You got a better name for the title of Floyd's biography, "ducking and diving"?

Hatton was also coming off a KO loss yo floyd.

Oh but theres an excuse for EVERY fighter floyd has faced. Haha!

So, Barrera was fighting an unknown of course he wold be favorite. Money would be on him because he was more known so of course he would be the favorite, betting favorites have to do with how the money comes in as opposed to what the chances actually are of one guy winning~. Berrera was thought to be faded going all the way back to Junior Jones and then after the first Morales fight then fought a whole bunch of tough fights. It is a good win but Barrera was a better name than a fighter at that point even though he was highly rated, plus he had the whole kidnapping distraction and probably didn't take his camp seriously because he was just fighting this unknown guy (see how easy it is to degrade a win btw).

Hatton who almost got put to sleep by Lazcano? I watched that fihgt against Paulie it wasn't exactly a great performance.

That has nothing to do with anything, GBP which was in on the Manny-Hatton promotion used that vehicle to launch a fight, whoopty do. Cotto never sought out that fight either until later on.

I still don't get why Margarito or Williams are different, they are good but you would easily come up with reasons why they would fall short "ooh they were tailor made for Floyd with their lack of boxing skill" hell even Manny "he was just too small great bigger man beat great little man"

Errrr....no it isnt, not if the criticism was spot on and it was, so take it on the chin as its not you he's criticising, just your hero. I dont need to call you a floydiot either, you do a good enough job of that yourself with the sycophantic guff you spout.

Floyd himself admitted that he cherry picks fighters in an interview published on this site, whats the point of this thread?
Floyd said that he is getting paid millions anyway, why take risky fights.
                      lol at his fans

                      end of thread/
