To a purist lineal titles mean something, although it is true that men make the title not titles making the man but titles pass from weak to strong and it ended up in the right guys hands and none of the challenger have been able to wrestle it away from him who were superior to Baldomir.

Agreed. He is very similar to Doug Fisher and Scoop in that regard. There is so much bias it's funny. Below is Hauser criticizing Mayweather as usual a while ago. He says Mayweather WILL NOT fight Austin Trout, and that he should fight the winner of Trout vs. Canelo but doesn't think a Trout-Canelo fight will happen, that Mayweather should fight Sergio Martinez at a catchweight, and goes on to continue the criticism mentioning that Floyd doesn't fight as good of opponents as the earlier years in his career.

this coming from a poster, like the TS, that claims the "best win" makes the better fighter. Maybe its time to stop using that ridiculous criteria to determine the better fighter.

Baldo would never get a floyd fight without beating zab, we know this. Once he beat zab, in 2006, that win was better than any win on Margs or Pwill's resume at the time. As such, the TS and this poster abandon the "best win" criteria.

You have a better chance of getting others to admit things when you are man enough to do same.

Do me a favor and dont put words in my mouth. at least do that. i nver said anything about "best win". My point has always been Floyd has ATG skill but not the rsume to match. Names/form of opponents mean more to me than paper titles, rankings and crazy Giampa p4p lists. This means that groupies need to stop flexing Baldomir.

lets not make out Baldomir or Judah were better than these guys.

They were both boxing amateurs who had no clue how to use their reach/height and got out boxed on a number of occasions by lesser boxers than Mayweather.

They really aren't that much different in class than Zab and Baldomir, you want to say those guys were better OK whatever your opinion but they aren't on some different plane and they are worse than several of the guys Floyd beat.
