Don't forget Mosley. You know, the one that was ducked when he turned up at the Wild Card gym for a fight because according to Roach, he was too good. Only after a beating from Mayweather, who waited until he got old, was he an acceptable opponent. How could you forget that?

Listen to all of Floyd's interviews, and see the maturation process of him becoming the best and highest paid ATHLETE on the planet?

Notice I said Athlete and not Boxer.

Hausers opinion of Floyd is now minuscule compared to the masses.

Yes people will also see his fights, but fans also read books, they will also see the fights of Pacquiao, Martinez, Margarito, Williams and wonder why Mayweather never fought these fighters if he were so good.

They will also see the like of Oscar, Mosley and Cotto were past their prime.

You could call this constructive criticism and debate it. But how does it not apply to Manny Pacquiao as well, especially from the mighty David Diaz onwards. How many of his opponents were at the top of their division, in their prime or on winning streaks? Do we forget that Mosley was candidly refused as an opponent until well and truly worn (as blatant a duck as you can get and Roach doesn't deny it). Yes, I know this is about Mayweather, but those who happily board Hauser's train wouldn't go near the station if Pacquiao were the target of the article. THAT is what makes their eager additions more about hate than truth. They only apply their brand of it when it suits them. The thing is, if Mayweather had been outboxed or flattened somewhere along the way, there wouldn't be a need for articles like this to make him fallible I some way.

I dont rate Floyd as the GOAT nor do I expect anybody to rate him the same way I do. But being unbias should be quality everybody has. Because you can poke holes at anybody's resume.

How come this respected writer article look like a copy and paster of boxing scene Floyd Mayweather thread comments?

Although I don't totally agree with this article (I don't think you can put the blame squarely on Floyd for why some of those fights didn't happen) it does highlight a perception that will be with Floyd after he is done.
His legacy will be a gifted a guy that didn't make the fights everyone wanted to see. When he is elected to the HOF people will bring up Pacquiao and how could that fight have not have happened when both were prime and P4P the top 2 as one of the first things they talk about?
I don't get the sense that Pacquiao will face the same criticisms as he is seen as a warrior and people generally like Pacquiao personally as well.

Pac was knocked out by a straight left, a body shot. And a right hand. I think rios will ko Pac with his uppercut. That'll be 4 different type punches that Pac was kod by.

But he didn't and people will ask why didn't he choose to make an easy $75-100m.
