These aren't fan boys, these are respected boxing writers.
Notice I said Athlete and not Boxer.
Hausers opinion of Floyd is now minuscule compared to the masses.Last edited by The Raw Dog; 10-03-2013, 10:13 AM.

I have been critical of Mayweather. Perhaps unfairly.. maybe. The article states what a portion of the boxing public thinks. I feel this way. It doesn't matter whether or not anybody thinks a Paul Williams or Sergio Martinez is a hall of famer. As fans we what these fights. We help pay the salaries and as fans... right or wrong... want to do some match making. Floyd and his fans must deal with the reality of perception. Many think he is or has dodged legit fights that the public wants. Floyd can and always had the ability to make ANY fight that he wanted. If we knew the details of the actual negotiations perhaps we would feel differently. Did he really refuse to meet Sergio at 154, but did with Cotto? Did he make unrealistic demands to Pac? Etc. It is pointless to counter with "Floyd beats them easy... so why make the fight."
