There should be a rematch IMO. It was like Mares was not paying attention! LOL. I mean that left hook was launched from another state, and Mares just seemed to ignore it and let it land. It was weird.

I'll have to watch it again to see if he had a sweat on coming into the ring. I don't want to take anything away from Jhonny as he is a top guy who deserves another big payday, but Mares usually seems much more reactive than that.

Class act guy tho like Gonzales said it's only a trip he got cocky with the wrong guy.

WHOA...I was looking at Gonzalez's high KO percentage earlier in the day, and I figured Mares would take some shots from this guy, but..win . The fights starts, and I'm noticing that Gonzalez is very relaxed, and boxing very well. Then...BOOM! Never seen Mares drilled like that.

That left hook was launched from anything but another state. It came compact, crisp, and right on target and landed with a thud.

No, Mares has never been hit by anyone with that kind of power. Darchinyan always throws predictable punches and he is not the fastest thing in the world so Mares knew how to respond. Jhonny has more KO's than most of these guys have fights.
