but when another fighter ggg, ward, pwill, etc who is now in the same relative poisition, when they call floyd out, if he doesn't fight them well its ducking etc.
When its Floyd people pretend they don't know how boxing works.

GIve ODH credit-his gameplan through round 7 of the trinidad fight was perfect. If ODH guys were fighting 8 rounds he'd have the perfect gameplan.

HARDLY. Aside from Oscar paying off Floyd's $6M tax debts so he wouldn't lose his mansions, which is why Oscar has been co-promoting several of Floyd's fights, so to get paid back the $6M. While Floyd is out frequenting strip clubs while his children are home in bed, and he's fresh out of the klink for roughing up their mother, Floyd has spent 17 years being strategic about who he hand picks to fight. He's NEVER fought the games best, IN THEIR PRIME, and has always waited until they were well past their prime, had too many wars, or just got old. Junior ducked Mosley & Cotto for more than 10 years. Junior wouldnt' fight Pacquiao in his prime and still won't fight him, but Floyd has several good BS story lines for why not. Floyd chose Ortiz as opposed to Marcos Maidana, after Maidana destroyed Ortiz. Floyd lays fame to beating Gatti, a one dimensional, lead with your chin, cuts very easy fighter, Marquez who Floyd purposely missed weight and out weighed fight night by 25lbs. He went 11 rounds with a smaller one dimensional, lead with your chin Ricky Hatton. He would never go up and fight Bernard Hopkins or Sergio Martinez. Most felt Oscar beat Floyd so much, Floyd walked away from a $25M rematch. So don't tell us how you dominate, how credible you are... you ran from Guerrero, you'll run from Canelo. You're all smoke and mirrors. If Floyd JUNIOR is all that, why does he need Oscar to CO-PROMOTE his fights; seems he'd make more money if he were the ONLY promoter... apparently he still owes Oscar money.

With respect to Oscar but Oscar he has to understand that he was far more skilled then most of the fighters today and especially Canelo. Oscar was a SKILLED BOXER himself, Great Amateur Career, Gold Medal Winning Boxer and in the ring, he had a jab, actually had very good defense and was damn good a Parrying Punches, also had a Chin.

Canelo is not anything close to any version of Oscar De La Hoya. So he can spar with Canelo and tell him everything he THINKS he needs to know but once he is in that ring by himself and on the fly with Mayweather...Everything Oscar told him will be a ***in afterthought
Exactly.. You only speak the truth bruh

.......Paul Williams didn't even get a legit and good win until Summer of 07' against Margarito. Than he lost to Quintana like 7 months later or something.

Now are you telling me Hatton wasn't a better opponent for Floyd in December 07' than Williams??? Hatton was undefeated and Top 10 P4P, and Williams had just gotten his first good win.

Yeah that was good, especially since its true. Just makes Oscar look like a bitter hater (and I'm not suggesting he isn't)

Exactly. People tend to forget all the times Floyd was avoided prior to splitting from Top Rank. People seem to forget Shane blatantly not wanting to fight Floyd in 2006. People seem to forget the only time Floyd and Manny had contracts ready, it wasn't Floyd who walked away from it.

It's a two way street, most of the time, and people forget that.

And he has said that with everyone Mayweather fights lately, that he's, "giving them the gameplan." Only one I don't think he said it for was Cotto. I know he said it for Ortiz, Guerrero, and now Alvarez. I mean, he only won like 3 rounds. What plan can he give anyone for Mayweather? Be a big name and you can get a ridiculous split decision?
