you really think Floyd gives a sh* t about a belt ? its ALL about money now a-days, and based on that, Mayweather is the money maker and that authorizes him to set the terms. who is canelo ???? his own mother has never heard of him !

and again, canelo needs Floyd. Floyd can fight anyone and make millions, who else can say that ? come back to reality and acknowledge the facts

If what you say is true then Floyd would have fought manny year ago and made easily 50 mil+
if it is true then he would fight Canelo at 154 for his guaranteed $32mil + at least 1.5 mil PPV share
but instead he fights the ghost for 32 mil +900k PPV
that is a difference of 42 mil or so

so ask yourself this
if Floyd is really all about fighting for money ok cool
where does he make more money
the obvious answer is fighting canelo
but he wont do it
now ask yourself why?
Canelo already beat Trout a very good 154 lber
so he has proven himself

Canelo has no leverage [No one does for that matter] when it comes to calling the shots against Floyd. However, the best logical choice for Floyd is to accept the fight at 154 lbs simply because he has already fought and won two belts there. Floyd can still make certain demands about how much Canelo can weigh on fight night or do a fight day weigh to make sure he doesn't rehydrate to 170 lbs.

At the end of the day, the fight needs to happen at 154 lbs or Floyd will take some heavy criticism [He's already being criticized and held at a higher standard as it is on a daily basis anyway] if he accept it at 150 lbs or 147 lbs. He should just accept it at the weigh of 154 lbs, but he has all the leverage to call the shots and can make sure Canelo doesn't have a huge physical advantage on fight night if he wants to.

I dont understand this Floyd trying to make canelo not weight a certain amount fight night garbage?
Its as if Floyd is doing everything he can to keep his zero and not taking risks. I'll tell ya what Floyd, let Canelo weight what he wants, and that way you get full credit for beating 100% Canelo and no one can criticise you.

Just on Sports Nation, he said in his exact words "IF floyd fights canelo in the next 12 months, people need to shut up, but if he doesnt people WILL continue to talk"

He also talked about issues with boxing, such as not having a specific owner to make fights, how boxing is to polarized with Money(Either super rich, or not rich), and how paying floyd so much money for fights gives him a reason to not fight the big fights. Will post video when it is uploaded

his stance on canelo is fair, imo. it's his biggest challenge and the most lucrative fight. he's only got a few fights left. he's not getting any younger. if canelo gets one more win it will all but force the nsber's to get impatient. i'll be there with them.
