Meanwhile Floyd gets 1 more fight with his dad and gets to test it out against a righty while also knocking off the finishing touches of rust from the layoff & jail.
Most of all, its just 4 months between May & September and even less since it will probably take a month or 2 to make the fight but there is 8 months between September & May. Plenty of time to promote & hype the fight. I think its a huge fight now but Massive in May

yea, like Victor Ortiz and Robert Guerrero have these ATG resumes
make this fight happen already...make it at 154
if Floyd can justify the Guerrero fight, he can fight just about anyone else

I know Floyd takes a lot of slack for cherry picking but i ain't buying this, he is smart enough to know he would be laughed at and given zero credit for beating Alvarez at 147, it's got to be BS or a bargaining strategy...
I think the fight will happen and at JMW.
147 is NOT an option, Canelo cant make that wait and perform never mind make that weight and perform against Floyd Mayweather

If you want to call the shots, pick the glove size, glove brand, ring size, etc. Nothing that will put your opponent at a severe physical disadvantage.

I think this fight happens a lot sooner than we think. All signs seems to pointing in that direction. First we had Khan tweeting, on his twitter account recently, that he is no longer interested in rematches with Lamont Peterson and Danny Garcia, anytime soon because they are going to be around for as long as he will be around. It sounds like he is vacating the Jr.WW division and now just today; Both fighters of this upcoming 140 lb tourney bout this weekend; Lamont Peterson and Lucas Matthysse have expressed that they are not interested in a proposed bout with Amir Khan either.

Most mainstream fans still dont know who Canelo is. Whenever they bring up his name on the ESPN shows about being Floyd's next opponent, none of the commentators are that familiar with him. The live access shows will help but still not as much as a Cotto fight and everyone talking about him & Floyd leading up to May
