If you want to know Pac is currently #7 on the list (and #4 at welterweight) after getting KO'd and arguably losing three fights in a row.

What does that prove, that the rehydration limit was 148.5 and DLH missed it by 1.5 lbs?

      1. If there was a rehydration limit, don't you think he'd hit the very max weight allowed? Provided he managed his weight correctly, which he clearly did not. Which is the only reason he came in at 147.
      2. There's 0 chance a 2lb (or 1.5lb ) rehydration limit would be medically cleared in a first world country. That's worse than same day weighin, which is deemed unsafe. You're asking him to drop down on regular weighin, then allow only 2lb rehydration. No chance
      3. There's 0 chance DLH, who called the shots, would sign such a debilitating clause
      4. There's 0 chance the guy who preannounces meeting his sobriety targets on twitter as big news in boxing would never leak that, after such pathetic exit from the sport.

Even freaking David Diaz was a top 5 beltholder, which is more than Barker, Macklin, Murray can say. When these guys retire, I wonder if they'll have a single belt between them.
You are seriously bugging. I'm going to leave Cotto and Hatton out of this because I give Manny partial credit for those wins but lets be real. Cotto was coming off of a hard 12 round with Joshua Clottey and had a nasty cut on his head to heal from. Not to mention have to fight at a catch weight. That's Cotto fault so won't blame Pacquiao for it but in actuality it is documented that after Pacquiao seen Cotto struggle in the Clottey fight he immediately wanted to fight him. Clottey? That guy hasn't won a significant fight in YEARS! He was coming off of a loss to a guy Manny pulverized. Clottey was/is no top fighter.

Mosley? Are you SERIOUSLY trying to give Pacquiao props for Mosley? Manny ducked Shane after he KO'd Margarito. Only fought him after Floyd and Mora. David Diaz was not the best fighter in 135LB division at the time. Nate Campbell was and they didn't want none of him or any of the other top guys. David Diaz was a weak champion. How can you crap on Sergio Martinez resume but praise Manny's? Martinez took 0's back to back homie. You too caught up with the name and popularity aspect. Again, technically (like I have stated previously on this thread) skill wise Martinez is better. Manny don't even have a jab to rely on.

cute. Say it after me, Bradley was Ring top 10 p4p before the Pac fight

I'm not giving him props for Mosley, I'm saying it's his worst opponent in years. Even so he was Ring top 5 at the time, you can check. Next year he became Canelo's best win so far (I guess?) at 154, where he wasn't even ranked.

Clottey was top 5 in Ring or any other reasonable rankings. He'd just made Judah retire mid fight, then dropped his belt to face Cotto since the sanctioning body wouldn't let them unify. Then gave Cotto a tough fight, so much so Floyd had him winning. Top 5 crystal clear. Heck if he could make 147 and came in sharp, he's better than most of the top 5 right now. You saw those polls, him vs Guerrero/Devon, was a rout.

But Pacquiao lost to Bradley and JMM. He fought top guys but he didn't beat them. Now you're going to mention he was robbed in the Bradley fight Ok sure but technically it is still considered a L on paper AND Pacquiao has had 3 debatable fights with Marquez and got KO'd brutally in the 4th fight. Manny has been on a losing streak and hasn't looked impressive since beat Margarito. Martinez is on a roll. He has KO'd 4 opponents back to back and shut out another. Martinez fought guys who were winning while Manny not so much. Not to mention two of his best wins in years (Cotto/Margarito) were catch weight title fights. You have your opinion like everyone else but technically Martinez is just a better fighter than Manny (In my opinion) you don't have to agree.

Please don't waste my time with this. Do I need to pull those press row scores showing Pac Bradley a one sided rout, JMM 3 a textbook draw?

Whether you believe it or not is your problem, I'm just showing you their fight night weight, which shows that Pac actually weighed more than DLH on fight night.

I wouldn't be surprised if there had been an arranged same day weight of 150 and De La Hoya killed himself to make the limit. Seeing as Pac would have to move up 2 divisions (like Marquez did against Pac) Oscar must have thought it would have been an easy win against a P4P rated opponent so he gave away some leeway while in turn getting the bulk of the purse for the "easy" win.

Don't give me your su****ions, I asked you for proof of a fight night limitation. You brought it up, not me, and now you're backpedaling like Khan.

For once you're right, no doubt DLH was trying to cherrypick a midget. Blew up spectacularly.

I even thought Clottey won it but what made him lose is him not being active towards the end rounds. Underachiever at best. All in all, he lost to Cotto and Manny still fought him. Mosley was a fight Bob Arum said prior to making it that it was a worthless fight. Of course Mosley was Canelo's best win because Canelo has fought worst then Mosley up until that point.
